Locs, Castles and Coos OH MY ! - Hopscotch is a winner ! Literally they won awards for their business. My partner and I had the pleasure of riding with Stewart ( a weegie - slang term for a Glasgow Scot ). He taught us so many fun slang words. Hopscotch employs locals so your experience is genuine and warm and the drivers are extremely learned and vividly knowledgeable about Scottish history and culture. We were running late at breakfast but our driver was extremely courteous and professional. I also had the pleasure of chatting with Reena before our trip and she added an extra stop so we could meet the coos ! So fun and easy going and highly enjoyable adventure and we saw so many famous attractions, lochs, towns and castles, bens ( mountains ). Choose Hopscotch and you will not regret it 100% recommend this business.

Awesome, fun and engaging!!! - Boom!!! Stop looking for another tour guide agency…you have found the mecca!! Michael shows up on time and then whisks you away in a total emersion experience. His knowledge of the castle was extensive. We hit every nook and cranny and some I’m sure the castle intended to remain hidden. He kept us engaged with the history of all things Scotland and was just about as close to a perfect experience as you can get. So much so, that we booked him for the rest of the week!!! Again, stop looking thru the travel guide. You can do no better than Michael and Hopscotch Travel.

Best tour we have ever done! - We didn't know what to expect and our expectations were met and exceeded. Michael was our tour guide. He was fun, informative and friendly. We had the best time. He took his time with us. We wanted to go hiking and he offered to hike with us (if we wanted) so he could give us some facts and history. We said yes and it was so enjoyable. The van was spotless and SUPER comfortable. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic storytelling along the way, a personalized tour with Hopscotch - Communication with Hopscotch prior to our travel date with thorough with prompt responses. My teenage daughter had a specific request to pet Highland Coos and this was accommodated perfectly Our guide Barney was very personable, he had a wonderful foundation of history and to boot was a fantastic storyteller, engaging even the teenager along the drive! We left Edinburgh about 9am, had a quick stop at the Kelpies, we toured Stirling Castle on our own (well worth it) then on to Callander for lunch. Based on Barney's recommendations we ate at The Old Bank Restaurant. The food here was very good though service was quite slow. Afterwards we went to nearly Kilmahog and were able to buy packets of food for the 3 local Highland Coos- Honey, Baxter and Hamish. This was the highlight for my daughter, I lost count of how many bags of carrots/potatoes we purchased to feed the Coos. Barney was patient with us at this stop! Afterwards we made our way in to the Highlands (barely) to Loch Lomond, a beautiful drive and stop. Barney knew a short (but somewhat challenging!) hike up the mountain for wonderful views. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Hopscotch Travel, it was a wonderful day.

Cancelled 12 hours before leaving with no explanation or message. cmon. - Our trip was cancelled the night before we were suppose to leave without any messages or explanation. Since this was a full day tour we had nothing to do since it was too late to book another tour.... I recommend booking any other tour. Or don’t book anything since it will probably end up the same! If I could give below 1 star I would but unfortunately that's the lowest score they allow.
