Welcome and thank you for your love of William Wallace and his greatest victory at Stirling Bridge. Our dog Molly taught me to welcome visitors to Stirling, give a warm hug and say thank you for taking the time to remember our great heroes who fought, died, and survived at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

Walk in the footsteps of Wallace and young Andrew De Moray and relive the Battle on the site where it took place.

We shall discuss the build-up, the main characters involved in the battle as well as present-day initiatives aiming to commemorate the importance of the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

Freedom Tour Today is the perfect way for me to welcome visitors to the area and learn more about why so many people hold these historic sites and Scotland dear to their hearts. Thank you.

We also do a tour at the Battle of Bannockburn, scene of Robert the Bruce’s greatest victory.

Sadly Molly passed away in February 2024 with her Mum & Dad by her side. Molly sent Oatly to look after us :)

Historically Informative - 7 of us joined Steven covering the historical battle of Stirling Bridge and we all found it very informative. Thank you Steven for your heartfelt enthusiasm , and detailed information. We learnt much we didn’t know about the battle, the importance of an unsung hero Andrew De Moray, and that the English army had twice crossed the bridge & returned and on the 3rd attempt the Battle commenced. Very much anticipating our next meeting with Steven for the Bannockburn historical walk. We know it will also be stimulatingly informative. Well done & Thank you Steven. 👏👏

William Wallace and others - My wife and I decided to find a tour for the Battle of Stirling Bridge, and are we lucky we found Freedom Tour Today! Steven’s obvious passion for history clearly guides his career obligation to present the past. Although we could easily have walked the battlefield and bridge alone, Steven’s tour transcends the accepted, and sometimes simplified, version of history to include a variety of alternate theories and possible locations of the old wooden bridge which take into account new information. At the end of the tour, we felt informed, entertained, but most of all welcomed to Scotland

Living history in Stirling - While it was just me, Steven nontheless accompanied me for a great time at the Old Stirling Bridge. Not only did he bring a lot of history, but fun anecdotes and stories from his own life that were great to hear. It is clear Steven cares not just for the history of his country but sharing it with others as a living thing. Very happy and thankful for this tour.

Loved it 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - AMAZING! I did this tour and the Battle of Bannockburn! Both were amazing and was about 3 hours total for both combined! You will learn so much about each Battle in the tours! I would definitely say if you do both, do this tour first then the battle of bannockburn as the battle of stirling came first and some of the people he mentions in the stirling battle tour are again mentioned in the Bannockburn tour!
