• Stirling Bridge - Just a 5 minute drive from The Wallace Monument and sitting below the castle, the present Stirling Bridge was built in the 1400s replacing a succession of timber bridges. In 1297 William Wallace defeated Edward 1’s forces at The Battle of Stirling Bridge. Today the bridge is one of the best medieval masonry arch bridges in Scotland.

• Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park - A 45 minute and very scenic drive through the countryside takes us to the banks of Loch Lomond with a spectacular panorama that makes for the most beautiful photos.

• Glengoyne Distillery - A 24 minute drive from Loch Lomond takes us to the picturesque Glengoyne distillery. A tour of the distillery with a tasting session costs £18 per adult. The itinerary can be easily adjusted, you may want just a visit to the distillery shop and to soak in the ambience of a Scotch whisky distillery.
