- Kilchurn Castle - On the opposite side of Loch Awe is the great view point of Kilchurn Castle. A ruined, fortress, comfortable residence and stronghold. This was a major powerbase for the Campbells of Glenorchy, built in the 15th century, but abandoned in the late 18th century. The castle is now one of the most photographed locations in Scotland.
- Inveraray - The Georgian village of Inveraray is located on the banks of Loch Fyne. The heart of Clan Campbell territory this quaint village is the best location on route to absorb the area with traditional fish and chips, while enjoying the views.
- Rest and be Thankful - Getting its name from the Government troops that once journeyed to Inverary with supplies, the rest and be thankful is a must photo stop. Looking deep into Glen Croe after hearing stories of the Jacobites, this is a great spot for reflection.
