Highlights
- Vaxholm Fortress - Vaxholm Fortress (Vaxholms fästning) dating back to the 1500s, the Vaxholm Citadel, located between Vaxholm and Rindö, was used to defend Stockholm. Built by King Gustav Vasa.
- Bogesundslandet naturreservat - Bogesundslandet is one of Stockholm’s largest nature reserves. Outstanding wildlife, farms with horses, green meadows and old oak trees. Hiking and biking areas with marked trails, golf courses.
- Norrhamnen - Norrhammen - traditional fishing cottages located in the north harbour on Vaxholm. Museum and summer cafe. Hembygdsgården known for its homemade cakes and pastries.

Bask in the golden hues of the setting sun in Stockholm Archipelago. An ideal, serene conclusion for your day; the Sunset Kayak Tour in Stockholm Archipelago offers a jaw-dropping experience. Revel in the tranquility of the archipelago with the dusk’s tranquil waters - even though you’re just a stone’s throw away from Stockholm - 30 minutes to be precise. Our kayaking adventure takes us to the neighboring water bodies for a serene evening that promises to be one with nature. We will gently explore our environs at a leisurely pace. This tour proceeds at a slightly slower tempo compared to our regular 4-hour Archipelago Kayak Tour. We aim to catch sight of local fauna like beavers, seals, roe deers, and shorebirds.
Don’t forget to dress for the weather: Bring along quick-drying hiking pants/shorts, thermal top, a raincoat, and sandals (footwear you don’t mind getting soaked). If you wear glasses, we suggest using a strap for them.

- Participants must be able to swim and have good physical condition
- All children must be accompanied by an adult (children under 16 years old must seat in the double kayak together with an adult)

We meet the group at our kayak center (take the subway T14 towards Mörby Centrum, on station Danderyds sjukhus go to bus terminal F and switch to bus 670 to Engarn). Please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before meeting time. Tours and courses have to run when scheduled.

Awesome Experience!! - Teresa and Miele were amazing. Before getting to the tour they were very responsive via telephone for questions. They were very patient and walk everyone through everything and made sure we were all comfortable and safe. They were also very knowledgeable both about kyacking and about the nature reserve we visited. They even bought hot tea and cookies to share with the group. Teresa and Miele, thanks for making my 1st kyacking experience a wonderful one!

Highly recommend this beautiful tour!! - What an absolutely fantastic experience!! Decided to book this kayak tour to experience the beautiful waters and sunset in Sweden, and it did not disappoint!
The 2 hour kayak with the guide, Josh was a wonderful ride. Watching the sunset and enjoying Fika (cookies and coffee) in the middle of the Swedish archipelagos is definitely an unforgettable memory.

A beautiful evening in the archipelago - Gorgeous evening trip with beautiful views, a real highlight of our trip. Wasn't too exhausting for the more casual sportsperson either! Trip co-ordinator was friendly and safety conscious, and fika with the sunset was spectacular.

A unique experience and well worth the trip - What a fantastic trip. Getting to the centre was an easy ferry from Stockholm and a short bus ride from Vaxholm and a good trip in itself.
The team and our guide were really superb. Very helpful and clear in their instructions.
The kayaking is really cool and a unique experience. At sunset the waterways and islands are so quite and beautiful. It felt like we were alone in a small group of 7 kayaks. There were some stunning photo opportunities and all the family enjoyed it.

The real Sweeden a stones through away from Stockholm - My daughter and I had a marvellous time canoeing into the sunset. Eben was a fantastic guide and made us laugh. Even though it was a windy day, nothing got in our way. The peace and quiet of sitting in the water looking out at nature was perfect. This little trip made our short stay in Stockholm so much more special. The gear was great and they had us covered when we forgot a waterproof. The start is a 40 minute bus drive away from the central station and we were back around 9:30.

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with our guide and were glade that ist didnt rain! We webt with zwo other people for about 3 hours ob the baltic sea. Ist was a great experience for us:-)
