Loved it, time well spent! - Definitely recommended, not only for history afficionados - the guides are happy to accommodate your needs when it comes to the programme and the level of specificity. Personally I found all the information very interesting and a great start to deepen my knowledge of Viking history. Jonathan is a very skilled guide and can convey a lot of info in an interesting manner, we also had a local guide for Sigtuna - Lena - who gave us a solid and fun overview of the town's past. Both guides answered all of the questions with patience and in detail. Also, the views on the sunny winter day were a marvel. All in all, spent a very pleasant day and learned a lot. Bianca, Jonathan and Lena - thanks!

One of the best tours I have been on! - It was one of the best tours I have been on. Only 8 passengers in a van driven by Urban, our guide, who was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about each place we visited. We covered so many places, saw and learned so much in one day. It was a really worthwhile tour.

Excellent educational tour - Very educational tour, in which you see the basic history of the Vikings/Swedish man in one day. On top of that, the day is accompanied by a guide who has excellent knowledge.

Do half day tour not full day - Pros: Urban, the guide, was nice, punctual, and a walking encyclopedia. Seeing the Swedish countryside on a lovely day. Fika was yummy at a bucolic setting. Cons: The whole experience lacked context. You learn quickly that Runes aren’t all that special then the mystery is gone. This was called a “Viking Tour” but what we got about Viking culture was in churches. Our guides didn’t have any visuals to give big picture context. Often I couldn’t understand him even with the ear piece. Most of our tour group had checked out, but he didn’t read the group. It seemed like he just pushed play in his memory at a location, and just talked. He would answer questions but didn’t engage us in a meaningful way. Our tour has 16 people which was one too many on the bus. Having 4 full size people in the back seat was uncomfortable the whole time. Bottom line: If you want to see rune stones, go on a half day tour or find them in Stockholm (we saw one the next day).

Incomprehensible guide. - Problem was that the guide was incomprehensible. A bit of a surprise as everyone we met in Stockholm spoke English quite well. There is little more to add.
