- Stockholm - Starting off in the Östermalm area, popularised by the rich and the famous, we introduce you to the traditions of Swedish food. From richly flavoured and exquisite cheeses to game meat. On top of that beer that is crowned “The Gold of The North”. You get a red-carpet like infusion into the world of Swedish delights at the high end Östermalms Market Hall.
Heading towards the heart of the city we will let you indulge in a traditional Swedish lunch. Along the way we will also introduce you to the crown jewel of our proud Nordic kitchen; the meatball! You will learn what types of potatoes to serve with it, why we have specific jams for it and other fun facts.
Moving on we will guide you through the beautiful Kings Garden. We will pass the the area that Vogue Magazine voted the “third coolest district in the world”. The tour will end in Old Town, an area that dates back to the 13th century and consists of medieval alleyways and architecture. Here we will treat you with some traditional candy and sweets.

Fun and satisfying food tour of Stockholm - We had a great food tour with Cotton. He was a very friendly guide and shared his substantial knowledge about Swedish cuisine and the city of Stockholm in general. The tour was well paced, with an appropriate number of stops and included an ample but not overwhelming quantity of food. We saw many interesting neighborhoods of Stockholm in the process. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this group tour - Our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens - really enjoyed this experience. The food we tried was interesting and everything was well explained. I appreciated that we went to many different areas of town because we were exposed to a lot of Stockholm. We did walk a lot, though, so be prepared for that. Having Fika at the end - warm drinks with pastry in a candle lite room was a lovely finale. Really happy we chose this tour.

An excellent sampling of Swedish food - An excellent sampling of Swedish food that included cured meats, Swedish meatballs, fish, soup, confectionary, and a fika to wrap up the tour. The quality of the food and variety was superb. It would be difficult to find and sample all of these things on your own, so the tour was worth it.
The tour also included a walk from the Östermalms Food Hall to the Gamla Stan area, pointing out a few notable sights along the way. This takes up about 30 minutes of walking, so just be prepared that the tour is not just about sitting down for food and drinks!
I would give it 5 stars, but I felt that the tour guide has some room for improvement. They were a bit quiet in some parts, walked too fast for some, and the commentary throughout the tour was too simple at times. A bit more humour or more explanations about Swedish food culture would make the tour perfect.

Great overall experience! - We had a great experience with our guide today! The food was excellent and unique. We didn’t expect to see two food halls and another restaurant for Fika, so that was a pleasant surprise! Our guide offered helpful insights about Stockholm, and we really enjoyed meeting others on the tour!

Nice tour - It was nice seeing the city and the different food halls.

Not great for vegetarians. - The biggest challenge was really our own in that we didn’t eat a lot of the foods on the tour and while the tour guide tried to give us alternative options, by the fourth stop, we felt we shouldn’t be on the tour. Better for meat and seafood eaters!
