Happens during the city walk
Experience a city walk full of fascinating history and impressive architecture at Riddarholmen in Stockholm! On this hike we take you on a journey through time, where you get to explore the forgotten islet that was once a bare rock with bleating goats. We will take you on a walking tour where you will see royal burial grounds, the palace of the nobility and the old parliament building.

During the walk you will see buildings that breathe power and bygone times. We take you to the tower that bears the Birger Jarls but was built by Gustav Vasa from bricks from the demolished Klara monastery.
Enjoy the view from Evert Taube’s terrace over Mälaren and away towards the City Hall. You will hear the story of Riddarholmen and its former inhabitants, with exciting details and some special destinies.
