Great Boat Tour - It was very informative, interesting and relaxing. We enjoyed learning more about Stockholm and viewing all the different areas from the water. Staff were friendly.

Great city views - I was amazed as to how much of the city you are able to see from the boat. I didn’t realize how big Stockholm was.

Very nice and educational cruise - It is 2 hours long and smooth sailing. The commentator was great. So much more information that the hop on hop off. I learned about places and geography and saw around Stockholm. I went for free through the City Go card. I heard it is better than the one hour canal trips. I’m glad I went.

Great tour, but an AI as audio guide is a no-go - We had a really beautiful boat tour under the bridges of Stockholm - the organization went smoothly, the staff was friendly, the weather was great, so we sat in the stern in the fresh air and in the sun. Everything was perfect. Then why only 4 stars? The audio guide in German was spoken by an AI. Dear Stromma team - I can't do that, I'm sorry. The artificial voice is unpleasant and permanently asleep, a monotonous singsong without ups and downs, without empathy, that is simply tiresome. At some point I couldn't and wouldn't listen. I recommend taking a look at the tour guide at Vasa Museum. The German speaker has done an excellent job, it is a pleasure to listen to her, and then the information also sticks. I pay for the tour, then I also expect the best quality, not an AI that explains to me that it cannot pronounce various words correctly because it is still learning. And that has nothing to do with progress (I have nothing against AI, it is helpful in many areas) - for a sightseeing tour, this is a sign of poverty.

Good Introduction to Stockholm. - This is a very good introduction to Stockholm, providing a water view of the area. The boat is comfortable and the recorded info is well done. As an orientation to help explore the city, this is a big help. In addition it is an enjoyable and relaxing 2 hour trip. This is appreciated after a long flight should this be the case. You’ll explore both the Baltic and lake parts of the city traveling through one lock, since the lake is a bit higher than the Baltic Sea.

Lack of introduction, welcome and offered guidance. - A very nice trip after the initial messy start. You must bring headphones and a fully charged phone, the audio guide is done through this. This is not advertised, and not one of the staff tell you this. After 10-15 mins confusion some of us went inside to ask and were then given throw away headphones that didn’t work. We shared one working set, but by then were had already missed quite a lot of the tour. There was no welcome, introduction or safety messages at the start. We just entered the boat and were left to figure everything out for ourselves.

Better off taking a ferry around the Archipelago - Having done trips like this in the past I was disappointed with the on board delivery and the quality of the sites viewed. The on board wifi didn’t work nor did the link to the commentary for your phone so we had to read the limited text on printed sheets. The tour lasted the 2 hours promised but lacked any real highlight that couldn’t have been seen from land other that entering the Loch and rising a meter to Lake level. Pleasant but by no means remarkable. Take a ferry around the Archipelago if you want to see the city from the water or day trip to Vaxholm.

Technology that didn’t work - We were looking for a relaxing thing to do for the afternoon, so we picked the Under the Bridge Tour. It was terrible. The reason being they had upgraded technology that didn’t work. The tour was done by downloading the app onto your phone and following along , with a numbered map that corresponded to a number on the app, seemed simple enough. First problem, the program kept=crashing so you would have to reboot. Second problem, they didn’t use GPS, so you had no idea if you were at spot 1, or 2, or 3 etc. So the audio never lined up with what you were viewing. Thirdly, the had audio jacks for android and older iPhones. Mine is a IPhone 12, so no problem. Some of the newer phones have a new jack (good luck). We ended up just floating around not knowing what we were looking at. A word to Strooma , if you’re going to upgrade your technology, do it right.

disappointing experience - There were no memorable moments. The staff was practically absent. No information was given regarding the progress of the tour. The audio guide was not easy to use as you had to do everything yourself and the voice was annoying as it was produced with artificial intelligence. The fact of being totally indoors made the experience boring and the fact that some places were against the direction of travel made the visit uncomfortable as no one gave any indications on the objects and views to observe. It would have been a more pleasant visit if we had visited more characteristic and historical places.
