Discover the beauty of Stockholm’s city archipelago with an exhilarating 2-hour summer or 4-hour kayaking tour, ideal for both seasoned kayakers and novices. Join a knowledgeable guide and travel to one of Stockholm’s safest bays to master the art of kayaking. Set off on an exciting journey to explore the city’s central islands and charming bridges, enjoying the stunning views from the water. Keep an eye out for landmarks such as Stockholm City Hall, Riddarholmen Kyrka, Gamla Stan, Södermalm, and Långholmen.
- A booking confirmation and ‘Welcome Information’ will automatically be sent once the booking is complete. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Stockholm Adventures directly.
- Minimum age is 12 years for 2h summer tour and 15 years for the 4h winter tour.
- Kayaking is easy to learn and does not require much physical strength, although a basic level of fitness is required.
- All participants must be able to swim.
- It is recommended that you bring a bottle of water, top with long sleeves, sun hat, sunglasses, rain/wind gear and spare dry clothes (in case you get wet).
- The tour will take place if there are at least 2 participants. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
- Maximum height: 1.95m.
- Maximum weight: 130 kg .
- This tour will take place in all weathers unless the guide deems it unsafe to do so.
- There are no toilets at our kayak dock, but you are welcome to come to our main location (Kungsbro Strand 21) during our office hours to use the toilet.
- CHECK IN time is 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Arriving at departure time or afterwards will likely result in you missing your tour.

A fun few hours on the water !! - The tour was very fun and informative ! The guide did a great job of preparing us for kayaking, showing us the sites, and sharing his knowledge of Stockholm. I’m so glad I did this tour, and would recommend to anyone ! It’s such great way to experience Stockholm

Fantastic sightseeing experience - The experience allowed us to see the city from a totally different perspective.

Great tour and beautiful scenery! - We had a great time! Oline was very knowledgeable and made sure the group was safe kayaking out with other boats! The scenery was so beautiful and the weather was perfect. Would definitely recommend and do again!

Belka experience - Great experience. lucky because I found a sunny day and hot water. It is easy even for beginners. A new way to see the city from the water by paddling. There are small stops where the Guide explains the highlights. If you do not want to get wet I would recommend accepting the cover offered.

Fun, Amazing Kayak trip in Stockholm - Kayaking in the canals and waters around Stockholm was amazing. The dock was pretty easy to find. The tour guide was fabulous. The trip takes you through lovely canals around Stockholm and across one large waterway. It is a great way to see the city and learn a bit about the history. There are plenty of places where we paused to learn about a site and/or history, so the kayaking was not too strenuous. A great way to spend a lovely couple of hours with a friend or family member.

Great experience. Philippa was a wonderful guide! - Seeing the city from the water was a fantastic experience. The tour operator, Stockholm adventures, is a well organized and professional company and I would recommend this and any of their other activities. Our guide, Philippa, was wonderful. She is knowledgeable, friendly and was very patient and encouraging of those of us who were not the strongest kayakers. You would be lucky to have her as your guide if you decide to sign up for this activity.

Great first time kayaking - Oline was a wonderful guide! It was my first time kayaking and she was very patient as the whole group learned what we needed to do. It was a windy day but it just made the experience more adventurous. It’s a really unique way to see the main sites of Stockholm and would definitely recommend, even for first time kayakers like me!
