Fabulous tour with cotton - Fast paced as there a lot of territory to cover. I was fine with the pace. Cotton was very informative.

An all round excellent experience. - There was a good variety of food to taste including some slightly challenging items, in particular some of the liquorice, but all of it was delicious. The guide gave a good overview of the foods history and the walk through the city itself was a good interlude between the food as well as a nice guide to the architecture and history.

Worth the Walk - This food tour gives you everything you would want in Stockholm, history, food, walking, and great views of the city. While some reviews complain about main stops being food halls for me, that was the best part. You get to experience the rich food hall and then the everyman food hall. Fritz was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of different Sweedish spots throughout the city. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Good tour, recommended - Good tour, lots of useful information. Very good market near the central station, where we had lunch, wine and licorice.

Definitely worth the experience for a flavor of Sweden - Our tour guide was the excellent Valentina. We visited many different food places and I would say overall this experience was very interesting and the amount of food included was plentiful. I recommend you come on this tour having not eaten beforehand!

Food tour food is amazing - Our guide was very knowledgeable giving us some history of Stockholm. The food was great. We ended up having a five course meal. Highly recommend a food tour on your trip to Sweden.

The best introduction to Stockholm - The food halls were incredible. Cotton also did a fabulous job telling the history of Stockholm as we walked. It was if we paid for two tours.

Sample of Swedish Cuisine - The best thing about this tour was having the chance to try some interesting items that I might not order myself, like bear, moose, and venison. Most of the tour takes place between two different food halls, with some leisurely walking in between. On our particular day, there was one larger, sit-down dish served at a fish stall, but I got the impression that this was not typical, and was done in place of a multi-course tasting. For that meal, guests had full reign of the menu, which was pretty nice. The cheese pie was what I tried and very filling, but tasty. I have to admit, the tour guide (Greek guy with long hair) was rather reserved and didn't do much to engage the group during the walks. Instead, he shuffled along with his hands in his pockets and his head in the clouds. On other tours I've been on, the guide usually takes interest in asking a group this small where we're all from, why we're all visiting the city, etc. but this guy did nothing of the sort. He would essentially speak if spoken to, but nothing more to carry a conversation. Still, I'd repeat this tour if given the chance since the food offerings were worth it.

OK but a bit underwhelming and a lot of walking with nothing inbetwen - The tour was OK, but I felt that a couple of the tastings weren't particularly relevant to an overall Scandinavian food story, others might have been better. Also, in my opinion, it is a little lazy and unimaginative of the organizers to have 5 of the 6 tastings in 2 food halls with nothing in between. If I'd known this was the itinerary, I could have done this myself with a modicum of research. Having said that, the stop at Kajsas Fisk was excellent and their fish soup was great!

Not bad - After reading the reviews, I knew that Cotton was the best guide and I hoped I didn’t get the other one who was reported as ill suited to be a tour guide. I did get Cotton! But quickly realized the complaints were actually about him. He’s quirky but not that bad. I couldn’t help compare to another food tour guide in Paris who really made the experience memorable and exuded enthusiasm even though she gave the same tour every day.
