Discover the enchanting Old Town of Stockholm with a relaxed English-language tour, designed for a small group of 10 to 12 participants. Journey through the charming cobblestone streets, narrow alleys, and medieval architecture while hearing fascinating tales of the city’s origins and its vibrant, occasionally tumultuous, history. The tour begins at one of the Old Town’s gateways, offering a brief overview of modern Sweden before diving into the heart of the Old Town. Highlights include the main square, one of the oldest streets, a Rune stone, the historic German church, a short visit to a bustling tourist street, and a stop at the narrowest alley. The tour continues to the former marketplace and financial square, featuring the St. George & the Dragon statue, a visit to the smallest statue, The Iron Boy, and finally, the Royal Palace, an area steeped in statues and history. Led by a native English speaker with local insights, the tour concludes in the Old Town, allowing participants to continue exploring or visit nearby restaurants and shops.
