Discover the enchanting Old Town of Stockholm on a relaxed English-language tour in a small group. We’ll meander through cobblestone streets, narrow alleys, and medieval architecture, sharing tales of the city’s origins and its vibrant, sometimes violent, history. Our journey begins at one of the Old Town’s gateways, with a brief overview of modern Sweden before diving into the heart of the Old Town. Highlights include the main square, one of the oldest streets, a Rune stone, the historic German church, a quick visit to a bustling tourist street, and a stop at the narrowest alley. We’ll also visit the former marketplace and financial square, see the St. George & the Dragon statue, pause at the smallest statue, The Iron Boy, and explore the Royal Palace area, rich in statues and history. The tour is led by a native English speaker with local insights and concludes in the Old Town, allowing you to continue exploring, dine at local restaurants, or shop.
