Great day in nature - Everything was great. Sammy was very informative and you could feel he really loves what he is doing. Sadly we did not see any "big" animals like moose, deer, foxes or wolves but it did not matter. I mean at least I was able to finally see wolf poop and a moose footprint up close - not something you will see or smell everyday 😉 If you like hiking, nice people/guide, a good BBQ and true swedish nature i would definitely recommend this tour!!!

Nature lovers dream trip - My 12 year old son and I loved our time with Sammy. He was such a knowledgeable enthusiastic and intuitive guide. We were lucky to find some very fresh signs of wolf activity! being close to that was special, and learnt a lot. A fantastic tour for people genuinely keen to learn more about tracking and engaging in the Swedish nature 💫 We would love to do a longer trip next time 🤩 Thankyou again, we will definitely tell people about the experience

Sammy the Wolfman is an incredible guide! - Sammy the Wolfman has an infectious love for wolves. He cautioned us at the start that wolves are tricky to spot in the wild, and while this proved to be true in our case, we nevertheless gained an aptitude for noticing signs of their activity and felt their presence all around us. We followed old tracks and droppings, which soon gave way to fresh tracks and fresh droppings. We crossed over frozen ponds and lakes near where they roamed. I am sure they were watching us at one point, but we could not spot them; we only heard wrestling noises in the woods and ravens calling overhead. Overall, it's a beautiful hike in an impressive forest. Visiting from the United States, I can't imagine a better way to spend a day. Sammy can howl just like a wolf and had rain not arrived, odds were good for the wolves to reply. As were our odds of running across them moving about. Ultimately, we gained a much more thorough understanding of how to spot their tracks and droppings and how to evaluate their age. We better understand the incredible beasts and cannot thank Sammy enough for sharing his knowledge and passion. If you go in wintertime, the snow and ice helps track them. We also walked for a good while on a frozen lake, which was beautiful and serene. Consider microspikes if you are going in the winter. Our evening BBQ hit the spot after a full day of tracking wolves. Highly recommend!
