Historical walking tour of Stockholm center - Sophia took a rather large group of tourists all around the historical center of Stockholm. She told us much about the history of the city in a friendly and entertaining way. Highly recommend her and the tour.

Perfect for exploring Gamla Stan! - We took a Sunday 10 am tour of Gamla Stan in June 2024 with Alice. She is a native of Gamla Stan, so she had personal connection to the tour and provided wonderful recommendations at the end of the tour that she shared. The tour is a great overview of Gamla Stan, taking you by the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral, the beautiful lake with picturesque shots, and an incredibly small statue (13 cm tall). You will go through a tight corridor (90 cm wide I believe is what we were told). Along the way you will learn history of Stockholm and of Gamla Stan before ending in the main square with the different colored buildings and the Nobel Prize Museum. This is a perfect way to familiarize yourself with the Old Town, especially early in a Stockholm stay. I highly recommend!

Fantastic introduction to the history. - Great tour. Our guide was Canadian but lived in Stockholm for many years and now a citizen. She did a wonderful job of explaining why she loved the city and was a student of its history. We loved her insight and warmth. This is a great way to get a sense of the history.

Definitely recommend - This was a great tour with a lot of info - our guide was very knowledgeable. She used a new microphone that worked well since we had a large group. Maybe a little too large of a group. Would definitely recommend this tour though

Picturesque tour and awkward silences - Gorgeous surroundings and the length of the tour was just right. The tour guide felt unfortunately pessimistic at times, leading to a handful of uncomfortable silences throughout the tour, such as sly or undermining comments when passing other tour guides, negatively nuanced comments about past tour participants, and other more personal remarks. All in all, for a free guided tour it was very well organized.

Left early - Booked in online in advance. On the day at 10am around 40 people were there. Guide was surprised and made a call but no extra help could come. A few randoms turned up and the guide let them join anyway. After the first 2 stops we left the tour as it was too crowded. Needs better organising.
