This tour takes you from Dubrovnik to Split with a stop at Ston. Ston was the second most important town, after Dubrovnik, of Dubrovnik Republic. Ston has walls, constructed between the 14th and 15th centuries, and extending over 5 kilometers in length. The walls were fortified by forty towers and bastions. Ston also has large natural salt pans at the base of the Ston Channel, where sea salt has been produced for centuries - a precious monopoly product of the Republic of Dubrovnik. The story of Split is already 17 centuries old, dating to the time the Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his Palace right on the peninsula near the great Roman city Salona, where he wanted to spend the last years of his life. During these 1700 years, the Palace slowly turned into a city, which to this day lures with its rich tradition, glorious history, and beauty of its natural and cultural heritage. Also Split has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

Simply splendid - The whole day was simply splendid.We had lots of laugh with our guide,we saw 2 UNESCO sites and we learned a lot of Croatia.What more would we want.Thanks for a wonderful day.

Profesional and entertaining - We wanted to see something on the way to Split and to try local food and this tour was ideal thing to do.Our driver-guide was smart,fluent in english and very entertaining.If we come back we will use their services again.

More than 5 stars - Since we liked the first two tours we asked our guide what else can we see.He suggested to go to Ston and Split.Good decision.To see so much in one day its unbelievable.We assumed that Split was nice but Ston was a hidden gem.
Also we liked the fact that our guide explained the long history on a very simple and understanding way.

Scenic and magnificent - We wanted to see something else except Dubrovnik so we reached out to Dubrovnik Trips to organize couple of tours.After Bosnia we went to Split and Ston.It was absolutely fantastic.Especially Ston and that area.One of the most scenic routes we ever saw.

Wonderful day - We were thinking about skipping Split but thank God we didn't.It would be a shame.We corresponded with Dubrovnik Trips to organize couple of trips and we liked this one the most.We saw 2 UNESCO towns in one day.What a treat.We learned a lot from our guide and enjoyed in his stories.

Very professional transfer - We had a flight scheduled from Split so we looked at the options for transportation from Dubrovnik.We decided to do this tour as a transfer with stops.I can tell it was a good decision.Our guide was easygoing,fluent in english and a skilled driver.If we came back we will use their services again.

Five star experience - After Dubrovnik we planned to go to Split and then the islands.We looked for transfers with stops on the way so we can explore the inland a little bit.After contacting Dubrovnik Trips we agreed on a custom tour with stops in Ston and Klis and it was fantastic.Our driver was also a guide who spoke fluent english and he explained us everything on the way.We are glad that we booked with them.

Two for price of one - This was a perfect combo of a nice small town and a big coastal town.We experienced the best of both.We liked the most how our guide Matt was friendly and easygoing.Also since he lived in US his english was perfect.We recommend this tour to everyone.
