Our guide 'Farmer Poach' was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable about the cows, always kept us a safe distance from the herd and shared a lot of insight into how the Von Trapp family curated the land/animals. I would take this tour a million times over, I had a blast! I recommend to anyone who really wants to be with these wild animals, but don't be deceived you cannot get too close to them. They are a wild herd so distance is a must. But if you love cows, this was amazing!

Much more information is needed upfront before individuals, especially those with young children, make a reservation. This was not suitable for our family and, had we had more information upfront, we would not have planned now. Generally, many showed up for the walk in attire ill suited to the conditions and that were presented with great drama, and reiterated along the way. Highly disappointing experience in our quick family weekend getaway, mostly because of the lack of information before we booked and invested.
