Free parking colmar - In this brief report I dwell only on my main concern: parking. To visit the city I suggest to park your car in a free car park open 24 hours a day that calls us Capitaine Dreyfus. It is a 5 minute walk from the station and about 15 /20 from the center, I found it very convenient not to have the nightmare of parking meters.

If you are debating between this tour and a different one...DO THIS ONE - Absolutely wonderful experience. I have done a few of these type of tours in other countries including France; this was without a doubt one of the best ones I've been on. My partner and I were shocked how fast the 9 hours went. We loved that we did small detours through small villages and we could enjoy the view without constantly getting out in the heat. The stops we had were the perfect amount and the time we were given didn't feel too long or short. Our guide Pauline was phenomenal. She was so personable, friendly and gave us wonderful information.

Fantastic experience I highly recommend! - This was one of the best trips I had: small group, a knowledgeable & friendly guide who was also our driver, beautiful sceneries, good food, and historic places. The Alsace villages feel like a fairytale. They are unbelievably beautiful. The castle tops the experience. Our English-speaking guide, Robin, was very helpful and gave all the necessary info and recommendations regarding where to eat and what food to order. The castle ticket was included in the trip, so we didn’t have to pay for the visit separately. We also had free tine in Colmar and one of the villages which was awesome.

An Unforgettable Experience- A day in Alsace - Maxim or Max, as we called him, was a superior guide! He told us the history of Alsace region and showed us many famous villages. We saw the village which inspired the movie Beauty and the Beast. Max also gave hints for restaurants and good wines to taste. He showed us the best views from the Castle and warned us beforehand that the journey up to and inside the castle entailed climbing 300 steps. Whew! We made it and what a view! Towards the end of the tour, Max drove up through the vineyards to reach a spectacular view of the region. Wow! While there, we picked maribellas, a delightful plum-like fruit. Max was also very caring for an elderly lady on the tour who couldn’t walk very fast. You will be very fortunate to have Max as your guide should you choose this Alsatian tour!
