During the medieval era, Počitelj stood as the hub of administration and governance for Dubrava župa (county), marking the strategic western frontier—a testament to its paramount importance. Legend has it that Bosnia’s King Stjepan Tvrtko I commissioned the construction of the fortified town and its surrounding settlements back in 1383.

Today, Počitelj stands as an awe-inspiring testament to Herzegovina’s illustrious past, inviting visitors to take a delightful stroll through history.

• Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar - Our primary destination awaits at the UNESCO-protected city of Mostar. This historic town, nestled along the deep valley of the Neretva River, evolved during the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town, later witnessing the influences of the Austro-Hungarian era during the 19th and 20th centuries.

At the heart of Mostar lies its crowning jewel, the Stari Most. This 16th-century Ottoman-style bridge elegantly spans the Neretva River, seamlessly connecting the city’s two sides. For over 400 years, it has stood as an emblem of the city’s heritage, tragically destroyed during the Bosnian War but admirably reconstructed in 2004.

Amidst your free time in Mostar, embrace the opportunity to wander through charming narrow streets, explore the local traditional market, and savor the delightful flavors of local cuisine accompanied by a cup of authentic Bosnian coffee or tea.

• Peljesac Peninsula - One of Croatia’s premier havens for delectable oysters, mussels, and an array of fresh fish awaits your visit.
