Highlights
  • Cave Point County Park - Pristine limestone caves abound both above and underneath the water! Cruise by the fantastic Door County coastline of undercut limestone and submerged sea caves. Complete with access to hiking trails, swimming and cliff jumping.
  • Whitefish Dunes State Park - Stop and check out the tallest dunes in Wisconsin located just south of Cave Point! Access to mile and half long beach and hiking trails.
  • Jacksonport - We start our tour here! Situated along the Lake Michigan shoreline, this quaint community offers a variety of fun and exciting activities. Experience our sandy beaches and rocky shoreline cliffs. Hike on peaceful trails and bike on quiet back roads, or enjoy our celebrations and festivals that add a bit of pizzazz to the otherwise laid back and relaxing atmosphere that is Jacksonport.

Originally a bustling logging and fishing village, Jacksonport is now the year round home to approximately 750 residents as well as many more that call Jacksonport their tranquil escape for the entire summer, a week or perhaps just a few days.

Additional Information

Join one of our trained guides for a trip to Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes. They are experienced in ensuring the tour is safe, interesting, and informative. Because we’re located so close to Cave Point, the majority of our time is spent on the water, rather than traveling there. You’ll be provided with a paddle and a safety briefing at the boat launch, before setting off on a two-hour paddle through some of the Midwest’s most beautiful scenery. We’re an easy drive away, whether you’re coming from Sturgeon Bay to the south, Bailey’s Harbor to the north, or Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Fish Creek, and Ephraim in the upper peninsula!

Pelican pals - We loved seeing the caves (from a distance because we had some bigger waves) the pelicans and hearing about the history of the region, all while picking up some life hacks for the Peninsula from our very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Katy! Thanks, Katy - it made me realize how much I missed paddling.

Beautiful scenery, fun tour - My husband and I did this tour while visiting Door County for our anniversary. Although I originally hoped we'd be in single kayaks, I was really glad that we were given a tandem kayak so my husband could do much of the paddling. Our tour guide, Gordon, was fun and informative. The waves were too big so we couldn't go in the cave, but the tour was still enjoyable. I took advantage of the phone case lanyards for rent for $5, and I took a ton of pictures. Fun time!

Nice day on the lake! - It was nice being on the water- beautiful day. Rolling waves were fun and we got some exercise in the way back going against the wind. Everything was on time, smooth, and our guide Gordon was fun!
