Thank you for the awesome experience! - If you are looking for a nice leisure paddle along Lake Michigan, by kayak, you won't go wrong with these guys. They work hard--- three tours a day, paddling with people of every level of kayak experience. The guides are charming, friendly, and kind. It was a beautiful experience, and our guide Jackson was a gracious host. He offered to take our pictures and provided us the opportunity to see the geological formations of the area. It honestly looked like we were out in the Caribbean, and the underwater drop-offs, cliffs, and caves were captivating. These tour guides work hard---- taking three tours a day out onto the lake. I felt we had ample time to experience natural splendor, and even lucky enough to have time to take a jump off of a cliff into the lake. Make sure you take the time to thank these folks, and if you have Jackson on your tour, tell him we'll be back next summer!

Fun e-bike tour - We had a great time on our Cave Point e-bike tour. We were a little nervous having never ridden e-bikes before (and having some knee issues), but it was so easy and so much fun. Our tour guide Jackson was very knowledgeable and took it at our pace. We would definitely recommend!

An OK tour - Our tour was "ok." I've been on many of these types of excursions and I *thought* it would be much like our others - the website seemed professional, the building. Our training seemed to be appropriate. But when we started piling our things onto the kayaks, my husband and I were surprised by the lack of thought that went into telling us what to bring, what would get wet, what should we do if our kayak flipped. We took it in stride - thinking "it's Wisconsin. Just more laid back." Our guide was kind and sweet. But inexperienced. Had there been any mishap, I wouldn't know how she would handle it. The tour - which was pretty expensive - boasted of a cliff jump. Our guide told us we would do it on the way back. I wasn't sure why. Usually you do those things on the way there because by the time you are going back, you're tired. On top of that, the wind had changed and it was more difficult getting back. And that cliff jump - packed with people from the trail! I had a feeling she would skip it. She didn't tell us we would as we were spread out. But she did. Our guide did make sure we safe and stayed with us which I did appreciate. When I booked the tour, I knew that I usually purchase the professional photo anyway - they get me every time. So, I paid the $20 extra. When it came to the end of the tour, our tour guide didn't mention the $20; there was no professional photo. She just texted me some photos that we could have taken. Overall, it was a good thing to do with our teenage boys. But it was expensive for the experience. Please don't pay extra for photos. The kayak guides use their iphones. Our guide was friendly. After other experiences like this, I had too high of expectations. But it was fine.

Bummer of the Summer - This tour was very disappointing. Our tour guide Ethan led off with "I can only speak to 2 things, sleep and kayaking" and he was spot on. He had zero knowledge to share of the area, history, geography, local lore, etc. He spent most of his time tipping over other guides and searching for his phone on the floor of the lake. It was clear the goal was to paddle as fast as possible to the one (1) tiny cave and paddle back. Everyone in our group was exhausted but very little fun had. If you need a ride to the lake and a rental kayak I've got to believe there are less expensive options.

A terrible kayak - This was terrible we had to kayak 1 mile into the wind in order to see a tiny cave our guide told us that we didn’t have time to cliff dive and didn’t talk to us the whole paddle. This cave could also be accessed by a 25 yard swim from cave point which doesn’t cost 375 dollars for a family. Over promised under delivered I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
