Great experience with a great guide - Great tour. Kristján the guide is great and friendly. He goes on the tour with you and teaches you everything you need to know. This tour is a great alternative way to see the wildlife around Stykkishólmur as well as getting to see some other unique things.
They have options to be in a single man kayak or a two person kayak.
Me and my girlfriend had a great time here and definitely recommend it for people looking for a different kind of experience

Awesome experience - Kristjan is an outstanding guide - knowledgeable and made the trip really fun. It was a windy day and he exercised great judgment in where we went. The winds were so strong at the end of the trip he hooked us to his kayak for 5 mins until we got to an area that was calmer. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. The kayaks were comfortable and he gave us suits to protect us from the wind. Super experience.

Amazing kayaking tour - My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience on the water with Kristján! It was just the two of us, so we could take all the time we wanted to admire the puffins and eagles that crossed our path. Kristján patiently waited and gave us some extra information on all the things around us. This was definitely part of our top 3 things to do in Iceland. Kristján also provided us with wetsuits so it was comfortably warm on the water. Don't hesitate, just book, you won't regret it!

An Great Evening Paddle with Kontiki Kayaks! - Awesome paddle with Kristjan as our guide. The scheduled noon excursion was called off by gale winds, but we rescheduled for a pleasant evening trip when the winds died off. Kristjan was expert and knowledgeable and the route was just perfect in a gorgeous setting. Lots of birds. We highly recommend!

Beautiful day - I was nervous at first, but Kristján was super helpful and encouraging. I had a great time! We saw a lot of birds and Kristján was super knowledgeable about the wildlife, the sights, and Iceland in general. He even took some photos for me since I left my phone on shore. I highly recommend!

Good kayaking adventure - Great kayaking trip around bird sanctuary island and working harbor. Sit in kayaks and dry suits provided kept us warm and dry. Kristin owner was knowledgeable and very helpful. Would recommend

Excellent - We visited on the last day of the season in September, so there was only the two of us sharing a tandem kayak. We had a great time with our guide Kristján who was awesome incredibly knowledgable about the local history and wildlife. It made it a lot more interesting.
Sadly the wind meant we couldn’t venture out particularly far but it was cool enough getting to paddle out to the small islands and then around the small port. The shipwreck was a particular highlight, as was the the wildlife. We got to see a few different types of birds as well as some starfish, jellyfish, and even a seal.
We were given dry suits which we just wore over our clothes so didn’t have to worry about keeping warm or dry too much.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Had a great time - just do it! - Great tour! It was really nice to get out on the water to see Iceland from a different perspective. Most of our trip was on land so just enjoying the sea was a really nice change for a couple hours.
It was reallyyyyyyyy windy the day we were there - but once we got on the water it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be at all. Defiantly ask for a 2 person kayak if its super windy.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the birds as well!
Would do it again for sure!

A very enjoyable experience - My husband and I took this sea kayaking tour in July. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about not just kayaking but the birds, vegetation and history of the area. The equipment was all adequate, the dry suits kept us warm and dry and the kayaks were well maintained.

Really nice and peaceful - Calm and close from nature. Our guide Vik was super and the experience was really nice. Not cold, thanks to the great equipment and they sent pictures afterwards
