Great One Day Trip To Cappadocia - When I booked this tour I was somewhat skeptical whether I had made the right decision, after all it takes three hours to reach Cappadocia from Konya. But due to time constraints (and my talent for bad planning) it was either this, or not seeing Cappadocia at all. What can I say? The tour was amazing and absolutely worth it. The driver, Mete, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the tour guide was very knowledgeable (although unfortunately, her name eludes me at the moment). My two favourite places were the caravanserai in Sultanhani and the stunning cave fortress of Uçhisar. The great thing about Selene Travel is that they're very flexible, so for example I was not hungry during lunch time, so they let me have dinner in the evening instead. More importantly, they let me explore the sites at my own pace. 10/10!

Great Cappadocia Sampler - We were debating if we should stay the night in Cappadocia in order to see everything and I am glad we did this day tour from Konya instead. Cappadocia is very touristy and although beautiful I am glad we just saw the main sites and didn't commit to a longer stay. Unless you plan on hiking or doing hot air balloon ride I think this Konya day trip is a better option.

Great day trip! - We arranged this trip with Selene Travel a day ahead and they were super efficient and flexible in arranging it. The tour itself was awesome as we visited many sites. It was awesome that we got more than sufficient time in each site. Even though we covered a lot of ground, we got back to Konya in the mentioned time. Shout out to Mete who drove us there and back as he is a very friendly, approachable person to have conversations along the way and to gain knowledge about Konya, Cappadocia and rest of Turkyie Overall, an exhausting but fun day that was worth it!

An excellent introduction to Cappadocia - We had a wonderful time enroute from Konya, first stopping for an hour-long visit at the Sultanhanı Caravanserai, and then upon arriving in Cappadocia, visiting the Goreme National Park, Kaymakli Underground City, and high quality ceramic factories in Avanos and Nevshehir. We were lucky to have Tarik as our guide, who not only knew the history of each place that we visited, but also the culture and customs of the people who were living there (and/or had lived there in the past). We ended up extending our tour in Cappadocia by an half-day to squeeze in a few extra locations (including Pigeon Valley and Zelve Open Air Museum - both absolute must-sees). On our request, Tarik also introduced us to a wonderful restaurant in Avanos by the name of Bizim Ev, where we tried the authentic pottery kebab. Overall, we were very impressed with Selene Travels recommendation and logistics, and with our guide in Cappadocia, Tarik.

Good way to experience the highlights of Cappadoccia - Mete Bey messaged and rang right after I booked the trip. Everything was arranged and planned well before the trip started. Pickup was punctual and the car trip was comfortable and enjoyable. Throughout the journey, he explained about the history of the region, major architectural sights and historical significance of the areas we visited or passed through. I loved the caravansaray so much, Mete Bey took me there again on the way back. It was already night, but sultanhani caravansaray was lit up, and it made the end of the trip extra special. The tour guide Hasret Bey was picked up in Cappadocia itself. He was the guide for Uchisar castle, the underground city, goreme national park, Pasabag and pigeon/ dervent valley. The underground city was interesting but can be claustrophobic.. Lunch was soup, salad, kebab and sutlac dessert at goreme; all good and delicious. The journey to Cappadoccia takes 3+ hours one way, but with Mete Bey and the guide, it passed quickly and happily. I didn’t have much time, so this was a good way to experience Cappadocia.

Best Tour company for Konya and Capadocia - My family had a Two day stay in Capadocia arranged by Mete including Hotel, Airport to hotel transfers a tour guide and private van. It was such an amazing experience for my two young daughters and my wife and I. Mete arranged hotel accommodation at a Cave hotel called MDC that had amazing rooms built right into a cave. My kids had the time of their lives. We then took a Hot air Balloon ride, which is the highlight of Capadocia. But it was the private tour guide who took us on a visit of the various towns and historical sites dating back 4000 years that captured our attention. Jihan the guide was very knowledgeable about both history of the Natural rock formations as well as the history of the Hitite period. He took us to a Ceramic factory called Bezirhane that dates back two hundred years and still continues to make the most beautiful hand crafted ceramics. Other highlights included a visit to mushroom valley, underground city, cave churches. There is certainly more to Capadocia than just the hot air balloon We were to continue with our tour to Konya.Mete arranged the road transfer to konya.on the way we stopped at a Seljuk Caravanserai dating back a 1000 years I highly recommend Selene for a well planned and carefully arranged tour with knowledgeable guides and luxury(Mercedes Vito) private transportation

Stunning Cappadocia - Our short visit to the interesting and spiritual Konya, ended with a full day tour to Cappadocia. It was possible due to the great professionalism of Selene's staff, who organized everything for us at the last minute. The Selene Travel provided excellent service at this tour in every aspect (punctuality, itinerary, transportation, historical data, all relevant information, guide, food, etc.) and exactly as we agreed. We have seen the highlights of stunning Cappadocia and created memories for a lifetime. Highly recommend Selene Travel and ˝DAILY CAPPADOCIA FROM KONYA˝!
