We’ll start driving from our garage, which is nearby Asakusa, Tokyo. We’ll have an exciting ride on the public roads and head to Toyosu where we will take a rest. One of the major highlights will be Ginza as its a long and busy shopping street, everyone walking on the street will look at you and want to take photos—you’ll feel like a movie star.

- Please arrive 15 MIN BEFORE the booking time, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the reserved time but please plan your journey ahead of time.ALCOHOL consumption before the tour is prohibited, so please be responsible.PLEASE DO NOT WEAR the long skirts, high heel shoes or sandals.

- Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your countries approved issuer. Some common examples are; Australia – AAA . USA – AAA or AATA. UK – AA or RAC. Canada – CAA
- International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan.
- Our cancellation policy is below;
- Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
- If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
- Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are not sure, please reach out to us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.

Please follow the address for Japankart in maps, the closest landmark to our shop is the Asahi beer headquarters. Its roughly 2-3 minute walk from there. There will be a signage on our front door "JAPANKART Go Kart Tokyo Tour".

Well worth it! - By far this was one of the most amazing experiences we have had in all our travels. The level of hospitality from the team was bar none. From the water bottles handed to us as soon as we walked in, the countless pictures taken of us, to the level of care and concern from the team. They thought of every possibility of things you might need to make this a great experience, including shoes because I had sandals on. The two hour tour gave us ample time to enjoy the go karts and the scenes around the city. I would highly recommend it. Thank you again!

A must when in Tokyo! - The 2 hour trip was a great amount of time to see a lot of different parts of the city! I had so much fun driving the carts around, it was such a cool and amazing experience. We also stopped at a lookout of the rainbow bridge was great to take photos in front off. Would definitely do it again.

Cool tour - I would think it would be good if you were reminded 10 days before the tour to have the right documents ready, because even we, who had read the "What to expect" section, were still at the registration office in Japan at 12 noon on the day of the trip to get our German driving licenses translated. But you really have to say: hats off, it worked! We were there at 12 noon, we were able to hand in the application at 3 p.m. and we picked up our documents at 4 p.m. The trip itself wasn't that great at the beginning, because there was a van in front of us, unfortunately we didn't see much... but after a quick consultation we were able to swap and had a motorcycle in front of us, which made it much more relaxed and we could really enjoy the ride.

Just a fun thing to do in Tokyo - Very Cool Time, the family had a blast, very cool drive around Tokyo.

A brilliant way to see Tokyo and experience the city all while being dressed in a cartoon onesie driving a Go Kart. - A super experience and what a thrill to be able to see Tokyo from a Go Kart.
Took my father (80) and he had a blast.
Highly recommend such an attentive team and well thought out approach, from confirmation emails with very clear requirements and expectations to a well structured safety session prior to commencing a zip around Tokyo.

Scammers and misleaders - None. We were NOT allowed to do activity since we didn’t have international permit. But full description on Viator says license but puts pictures and on last picture shows the rest on instructions. This is a scam and very misleading. Most people read and not review photos.
We were turned away and with no refund ($300ish) which I will dispute after I get back.
AND FOR BOTTOM QUESTION MAKING ME PUT SOMETHING… I was with no one since we didn’t do activity.
