Following this, participants will engage in stretching exercises targeting major body areas, including leg muscles, hip joints, shoulder blades, and chest.
Subsequently, basic punches, blocks, and kicks will be practiced with the correct stance. Each technique will be broken down into several steps, allowing participants to learn progressively.
Finally, the essence of kumite (sparring) training will be taught without physical contact, ensuring a safe practice environment. The instructor will guide participants on defending against attacks such as punches, front kicks, and low kicks, providing various tips for precision and efficiency.
The host, Ryo, emphasizes teaching the core of karate through clear explanations and demonstrations of different techniques. The instructor, Ryo has been dedicated to “Kyokushin Karate”, that has been popular around the world for 18 years.
In 2013, he got the 3rd place at KWU[Kyokushin World Union] World Karate Championship (-75kg) held in Bulgaria and has become the All-Japan champion of Kyokushinkan International(-80kg).
He’s been teaching karate since 2010, and has passed the promotion exam for the 2nd Dan of black belt in 2020, which is the certificate of a highly qualified instructor.
