Outstanding experience - On our last days in Tokyo the sumo tournament was being held and we decided to get tickets through this tour which was an amazing experience. It looks to be hard to book yourself and the tour really is added value. Our guide, Yoshimi, was fantastic. She was a big sumo fan and shared her knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. We learned so much about the history of the sport, the rituals, the culture, and the wrestlers. We helped cheer for her favorite wrestler, which was great. There were two delightful kids on the tour who got really into it and were arbitrarily cheering for wrestlers in each match much to the enjoyment of a Japanese couple nearby. I wasn't sure if we'd get tired of ~3 hours of sumo wrestling, but nope! It was really fascintating!
