- Pilanesberg National Park - Embark on a full-day safari at Pilanesberg Game Reserve, departing from Johannesburg. The tour includes round-trip transportation to the park and two 2.5-hour game drives led by a highly skilled ranger in an open vehicle. Upon arrival, your guide will take you on an exhilarating morning 4x4 safari drive to spot the wildlife that calls the National Park home. Our knowledgeable guides will provide detailed information about the animals you encounter and will do their utmost to locate members of the Big 5. During the midday heat, enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps within the National Park before setting off on an afternoon open vehicle safari drive. Our vehicles leave the National Park between 15:30 and 16:00 to ensure a return to Johannesburg before sunset.

After we pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00 - 06:30, we set out for the Pilanesberg Nature Park.
We anticipate reaching Pilanesberg Park at about 9am, at which point we’ll embark on our first open vehicle safari drive (approximately 3 hours), exploring the array of wildlife residing within the National Park. From 12 pm…
After we pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00 - 06:30, we set out for the Pilanesberg Nature Park.
We anticipate reaching Pilanesberg Park at about 9am, at which point we’ll embark on our first open vehicle safari drive (approximately 3 hours), exploring the array of wildlife residing within the National Park. From 12 pm until 1 pm, we’ll pause for lunch at Pilanesberg Center located in the heart of the park, where you can enjoy a picturesque view of a waterhole. Lunch concluded, we resume our wildlife adventure with our second Open Safari Drive (around 2 hours), aiming to exit the park around 15:30 and arrive back in Johannesburg between 17:30 to 18:00.

Amazing Safari Experience - The safari was great. Excellent service and amazing experience over all. Very well put together and organized, the transportation was comfortable and the safari itself was great fun, and the guide had so much knowledge and facts. 10/10.

An amazing day ! - This was an excellent trip all round from pickup to the park and back again. The guide was brilliant and was so knowledgeable. We saw all the big 5 even a leopard ! . Amazing day well worth the money !

If you only have one day , this trip is for you - This one day safari was above our expectations. Driver Alex was prompt in the morning and after picking everyone up spent some time easing the guest into the journey and creating a great atmosphere for the drive. At the park our driver Perol was outstanding proving us with a great guided and educational experience. During lunch there was a leopard siting and he quickly jumped into action and rallied everyone into the truck to go see it, he like us was excited. During the trip we saw more or less everything and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a comprehensive one day adventure.

Wonderful. We’ll be back. - I’ve completed this Pilanesburg day tour three times now, always great! Sunny, our driver from Joburg to the park, is always a delight, and the tour itself was wonderful. The open vehicles are comfortable and allow a great view, and it never feels too busy with tourists at this time of year. Highly recommend if you don’t have the time for a multi-day safari elsewhere.

Amazing experience! - Picked up on time from the hotel, great communication via WhatsApp, excellent driver, great ranger.... Safari was amazing, I can't believe how beautiful this place is... I am considering going again with my kids. Park is smaller than Kruger so 1 day is enough! Mind it is 2 hr 45 min drive from/to Johannesburg but it is worthy! Take charger and power bank because you will be taking photos and visions all the time... This place is EPIC! Thank you!

Pillanesberg: much better than Kruger, and a great native guide (Lethabo) - We visited two parks, Pillanesberg and Kruger. In Pillanesberg, which is a beautiful place, the service was excellent. A special mention went to a native guide, Lethabo, who told stories that only a native could tell, with warmth, tradition and depth. The restaurant offered a good lunch, in a beautiful and peaceful place. In Kruger, a place that was not so beautiful, there was a lazy guide, who spoke few words, probably of Dutch origin. The food was fast food, in a messy place. The only advantage of having visited Kruger, in addition to Pillanesberg, was having completed the animal watching, to see all the "Big Five". Anyway, if you only have time to visit one park, we highly recommend Pillanesberg.
Visitamos dois parques, o Pillanesberg e o Kruger. Em Pillanesberg, que é um belíssimo local, o atendimento foi excelente. Destaque para um guia nativo, Lethabo, que contou histórias que só um nativo pode contar, com simpatia, ancestralidade e profundidade. O restaurante ofereceu um bom almoço, em lugar bonito e tranquilo. Já no Kruger, local não muito bonito, havia um guia preguiçoso, de poucas palavras, provavelmente de origem holandesa. A comida era fast food, em local bagunçado. A única vantagem de ter visitado o Kruger, além do Pillanesberg, foi ter completado a avistagem de animais, para visualizar todos os "Big Five". Enfim, se você só tiver tempo para visitar um parque, recomendamos enfaticamente o Pillanesberg.
