A Journey Through Time and Nature

As I embarked on the Biking Tour through the charming villages of Supetar, Splitska, Lovrečina, Dol, and Postira, I was immediately transported back to the road trips of my youth. The open road, the wind in my hair, and the promise of discovery around every corner. This time, however, the journey was on two wheels, and the landscape was the stunning coast of Brač.

Our adventure began in Supetar, a bustling town that quickly gave way to the serene and ancient village of Splitska. Here, I was reminded of the small towns I had visited across America, each with its own unique story and charm. Splitska, once a port for the stones that built Diocletian’s Palace, whispered tales of history as we paused to take in its beauty.

A Sweet Ending in Dol

The final leg of our journey took us to Dol, an eco-village known for its famous Hrapaćuša cake. As we arrived, the village’s charm was evident in its rustic architecture and welcoming atmosphere. In Dol, we indulged in the local delicacy, a sweet treat that was the perfect end to our adventure. The cake, rich and flavorful, was a testament to the village’s culinary heritage and a delightful reminder of the homemade pies and treats I had enjoyed on my travels across America.
