Fantastic Experience with TrippyTrip in East Java - We booked a 2D1N tour with TrippyTrip to explore Mt Bromo, Madakaripura Waterfall, and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and I can’t praise them enough! The entire experience, from pre-booking to the end of the trip, was flawless. Pre-tour/Booking Phase: Vincent, our point of contact throughout the process (and I believe the owner), was incredibly professional. His communication was prompt, clear, and left no room for confusion. He patiently answered all my questions, even when I requested multiple changes to the itinerary until we had the perfect plan tailored to our needs. His responsiveness and thoroughness made the booking process smooth and stress-free. During the Trip: Punctuality: Our pickup from Surabaya was scheduled for 11 PM, and our driver, Raya, and guide, Ins, were already waiting for us at 10:45 PM. This level of punctuality continued throughout the tour, with Raya and Ins always ready and waiting for us. Safety: Initially, we had some concerns about safety, especially being in a foreign country and starting our tour at midnight. However, as soon as we met Raya and Ins, all our doubts disappeared. We felt completely safe with them, and by the end of the first day, we were comfortable enough to leave all our belongings and valuables in the car without any worry. For us as Indians, that level of trust speaks volumes! Knowledgeable Guide: Ins was incredible—highly knowledgeable about Indonesia’s culture, history, and traditions. She answered all our questions and was genuinely caring and attentive throughout the trip. She constantly checked to ensure we were doing well, and her agility and willingness to help stood out. Flawless Operations: The entire trip ran like clockwork. At every stop, from the jeep at Bromo to the bike taxis at Madakaripura, everything was perfectly arranged. Tickets were pre-sorted, guides were ready, and at Tumpak Sewu, Ins even escorted us down to the bottom of the waterfall—a challenging hike! She made sure we were safe, hydrated, and enjoying ourselves without ever feeling rushed. As slow travelers, we appreciated the freedom to take our time and truly immerse ourselves in each place, and TrippyTrip gave us that flexibility. Pricing: While the cost seemed high from the perspective of my domestic currency, after comparing with other tours, TrippyTrip actually offered better value. When you factor in the professionalism, seamless communication, operational excellence, fantastic guide, great driver, comfortable hotel with breakfast, and all tickets included, it was worth every penny. Post-trip: Even after the trip, we received follow-up messages from both Ins and Vincent, checking on our well-being and asking about our experience. That level of care even after the tour ended was the cherry on top! The locations we visited—Mt Bromo, Madakaripura, and Tumpak Sewu—are stunning on their own, but experiencing them with TrippyTrip made the journey unforgettable. They truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended, and best of luck to the entire TrippyTrip team!

Perfect. - We would like to thank Nael, our Guide for 3 days who did a great job, welcoming, smiling and very kind. I recommend, an ideal course even if we did not see Ijen which was closed, but Nael offered us a backup solution, and we appreciated it.

Three days trip Mount Bromo, Tumpak Sewu e Balurani - Landscapes never experienced before. Mount Bromo sunrise absolutely breathless. Even if Ijen volcano was closed at that time, our guide (Andre of Trippy Trippy, and the driver Fouzi) fulfilled our expectations, giving us an alternative tour at Balurani National park. Excellent accomodations both in Bromo and the last night. Highly recommended.

Best trip ever! - We had an amazing trip with our guide Nael and our driver Sulis. Nael speaks English very well, so he could tell us a lot about everything we saw, but also about cultural differences between our country and Indonesia. Sulis made is feel safe in the car the whole trip. We had such a great time! The hotels were good and also the communication. Unfortunately the Ijen was closed due to the activity. We had contact in advantage to change the trip, so we went to Malang and Jodipan instead. The Bromo is realy a must see! And the Tumpak Sewu also and it is realy an adventure. We would recommend Trippy Trip Tours, Nael and Sulis 10/10⭐️. Also Nael made so much nice picture of us. We have made so many unforgettable memories 😍

The best way to see Java! - My girlfriend and I did a 3 day tour across Java with Andri and Trippytrip and had the most amazing time!! We did the Sewu Waterfalls, Baluran National Park, and Mount Bromo. Andri was the best guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about all the different places. Took hundreds of photos for us and was very accommodating to our very rushed tight 3 day schedule. Had a lot of fun with Andri as our guide. Highly recommend Andri and Trippytrip, if you’re looking to explore Java’s beautiful nature.

The Surabaya tour was amazing with Tumpak Sewu, Bromo's sunrise, and Ijen blue fire. Excellent guide! Unforgettable! - One of the best tours you can experience in Surabaya! We started with a visit to the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, which was truly impressive. We enjoyed crossing rivers, climbing up the waterfall, and exploring the nearby cave. We were fascinated by the spectacular sunrise at the Bromo volcano viewing point and had fun kicking up the sand while walking across the sea of sand. We then climbed to the summit of the Bromo volcano. The last day was exhausting but interesting. We woke up early to visit the Ijen blue fire and then hiked to a nearby hill to view the Ijen crater, which is the most acidic lake in the world. The whole tour was well planned. We highly recommend and appreciate our guide, Nael, who not only led us to the best photo spots and assisted us with the volcano hikes but also explained Indonesian culture and religion, and introduced us to traditional food and daily life. I would definitely choose Trippy Trip again if I visit Indonesia in the future!

Cap Tikus :D - the trip was the greatest adventure during our entire stay in Indonesia! Guide Ryan was very helpful, witty and communicative. He has perfect English and tells many interesting things about the places we saw and life in the country. we felt very safe because Ryan is also a great driver. Tumpak Sewu is the most beautiful waterfall we have ever seen, and both volcanoes (Bromo and Ijen) gave us a decent dose of adrenaline and emotions... the views were spectacular. the trip is definitely worth the money invested! P.s. I don't need a cap, i just need a Cap Tikus :D :D :D

Amazing tour if you love adventures! - I loved this tour! Yes, it is busy and you will be waking up before the midnight to start a day but it's all worth it! We loved every single place we visited. Our guide and driver were so accommodating and caring! Our guide Andri took some amazing pictures for us too!

I didn't have good experience with them. - Before I went I was told that Ijen volcano was closed for seismic activity for which they are not to blame. I was offered in place of Baluran National Park for animal safari but that place should not be offered because apart from an ugly landscape, you only see vulgar monkeys. More serious is to offer it as a replacement for Ijen because there is no comparison, and they did not lower the price of the tour that should have been very lower. The guide, Nael, I was offered on the tour was not entirely correct and was always late and not on time apart from worrying about us the essentials. Rating is also bad because on the last day I disappeared from my backpack €100 and only separated from it for a while that I left it in the vehicle supposed to be guarded by the driver. Not only did he not guard our things, but he reached in and took €100. I chose this tour operator for google reviews, but in my case I have not had good experience with them.
