Highlights
- Surabaya - Start your exciting expedition with a convenient pick up from the Airport / Hotel / Train Station in Surabaya by our professional local driver and tour guide at 11.30 pm. Travel 3 to 4 hours to the Mount Bromo area.
- Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - Transfer to a thrilling ride on a 4WD jeep to Mount Penanjakan where you will witness the perfect sunrise view. After the sun ascends the sky, you will head over to Hill of Love by 4WD jeep for a photo opportunity.
- Luhur Poten Temple - Cross Sea of Sand (Horse ride is available, rental fees are excluded). You will be able to see Luhur Poten Temple, which is a Hindu temple located at Sea of Sand. This temple is the center of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. Then climb 250 stairs to reach the rim of Bromo Crater.
Return back to your jeep at around 8 - 9 am.
- Madakaripura Waterfall - Head to Madakaripura Waterfall to enjoy the magnificent natural sight, the journey is about 1 hour driving. This is optional, you can skip waterfall if you want.
- Surabaya - Drop off at Airport / Hotel / Train Station in Surabaya at 1pm. If you are going to the waterfall, the drop off time will be at 3 to 4pm.

First light from Mt Bromo - A sky full of stars and the sunrise view has been breathtaking. The walk up to Mt Bromo was equally awesome. Great thanks to Gilang, my guide, for this exhilarating experience. Feeling thankful.

Knowledgeable, Friendly, Punctual. - Spectacular views. Tour guides were excellent, friendly, and punctual. Good driving. Guide gave us facts, guided us to the best points of view, and took pictures for us. Wear layers for change in elevation.

Amazing and Good Service from Gilang - We had the best time in Mt Bromo. Our tour guide Gilang was very knowledgable and takes great pictures for us! He went an extra mile to help carry our backpack as we were hiking with an infant. He made sure we were safe throughout the trip.
I left my item in the car and only realised it when i was back in Singapore. Gilang went an extra mile to post my item back to Singapore. I will forever be grateful to him.

Long and amazing tour! - The company has been very responsive and attentive to suggest me the best and suitable experience for that time of the year. After chasing the amount Bromo Sunset Tour they contact me few days prior to the arrival, we had Gilang as guide! I must say that the tour started from pick up 11.30PM till 4PM drop off ( cus we add the Madakaripura Waterfalls) of the next day.. basically 16hrs tour.. never done something like this before in my 20 years of travelling.
Gilang was very patience, attentive, caring, calm and without any rush he let us enjoy the views, taking pictures and taking our time to explore. So even if the day and trip was long, with all the calm we really enjoyed the day without feeling the rush of timing!
We had an incredible day as was on my boyfriend’s bucket list and you guys make it possible!

Mt. Bromo and Gilang are the best combo! - This was our first time in Indonesia and we were so excited to see Mt.Bromo. We booked this tour with Gilang to make this possible.
Our journey started at night when Gilang picked us up from the hotel. We had changed our pickup point and he was able to accommodate us. Gilang drove us through the night to the Mt.Bromo area while we slept. Once we got there, he took us to the viewpoint and took as many photos as we wanted. He was a great Instagram photographer!!
Gilang was very personable and very fun to talk to. He waited for us to catch our breath multiple times through the hike. It felt like traveling with a friend.
That’s why I say Gilang + Mt.Bromo is the best combo!

Spectacular place at the right time - Amazing experience, in a wonderful place. Everything was planned perfectly and Gilang, our guide, was super kind and helpful. During the sunset tour, there were very few people, which made it easier for us to enjoy the landscape and the experience.

A gorgeous sunrise tour of Mt. Bromo - This was a morning we won’t ever forget. It was a beautiful and majestic tour, chasing the sunrise to Mt. Bromo. The crater was phenomenal and unreal to see in person. We can’t thank enough our amazing tour guide; Gilang, he ensured our trip went smoothly and took the time to help us capture special moments. He was very friendly and informative. The tour not only showcased the volcano, Gilang made the most of the day to show us other humbling sites. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Attentive to our needs - Very impressed with the level of service. We customised a 2N 3 D tour ( 2 night stay at Bromo ) which included Mt Bromo sunrise & Madakaripura waterfall tour. The tour agency was detailed in meeting our needs which included a packing list for both destinations. Our tour guide Agung took very good care of us ( an elderly couple ) and was super attentive to our every step especially at the waterfall. Thank you Agung for making this trip so memorable for us.

Great sunrise tour to Mt. Bromo with waterfall! - We would recommend the Mt. Bromo Sunrise Tour to everyone! The sunrise, the view of the volcanoes, the visit to the crater and the waterfall were each a highlight in their own right. Our guide Gilang was very friendly and helpful and guided us well through the day. You should definitely take a warm jacket, trousers and sports shoes with you, as it is quite cold before sunrise and you have to wait outside for a while. You can also rent a coat or jacket on site. I would definitely take a mask with you next time, you underestimate the dust in the Sea of Sand and have to walk about 2km. For the waterfall you should take waterproof shoes or sturdy flip-flops with you, as you have to walk a bit through the shallow water on stones and it can be slippery. The ride in the jeep to the sunrise point is a bit bumpy but definitely an interesting experience. We had the entire tour exclusively for ourselves as a couple and all entrance fees were included (only the toilet and food/drinks had to be paid for ourselves), which made the tour very pleasant for us. Especially the visit to the waterfall where you have to take a local guide and all negotiation and communication was taken care of by our guide.
