Best One Day Tour in Indonesia - I had an amazing 1 day trip to Mount Bromo and Madakaripura waterfall with Rizky as a guide. Rizky is an experienced guide who is very knowledgeable about the local area. We were able to go directly to the best spot for viewing sunrise at Bromo, and he knew the places with the best views at every other location. I learned a lot about the geology and history of the places we visited, and also gained insights into Indonesian culture. I appreciated the little touches as well, like providing an insulated mat to sit on while waiting for sunrise. Rizky is also quite the talented photographer, taking photos throughout the trip, including some under the starry night sky! Rizky and our driver were punctual and organized. The stops for a coffee break and breakfast were timed perfectly, the food was delicious, and I never felt rushed during the tour. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish, with a great guide, safe driver, and responsive communication from the company.

Superlative Mt Bromo Sunrise tour - We had the most amazing experience through this tour, especially the sunrise at Bromo, followed by the view of the crater itself. Most of the credit for our experience goes to our guide, Mr. Ubaydillah, who was always courteous, very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would very highly recommend him as a guide for anyone considering this awe inspiring tour.

Mt. Bromo - Desire Fulfilled! - We saw Mt. Bromo on 30th October 2024. It was my husband's desire to take me to Mt. Bromo, as he had seen this as a 13-year old. We took the ‘Cheap Bromo Travels’ to visit Mt. Bromo. And it was fantastic. They took care of everything from pick up, drop off, the vehicles, the food, photos and an English guide- Baroni (Oni). The point of interests covered were- Sunrise view of Mt. Bromo, Mt. Batok and Mt. Semeru from King Kong Hill, Visit to Mt. Bromo, Visit to Luhur Poten Temple-a Brahma temple. On 29th October 2024, Oni picked us up from our hotel at 11.30pm. From the time we meet Oni, a young man full of enthusiasm and energy, we liked him and got into a conversation. He told us about the Tenggers, the social hierarchies and the geography of the place. By the time we reached King Kong hill it was the 2.30am of 30th October 2024. Had some coffee and fritters. He even suggested that we should go and do sky-gazing because the night was dark but since it was very cold by the time we finally went out it was already 3:30am and the morning was getting set, so we could not see the stars. As it was still dark, it wasn't easy finding the way. Oni gave a helping hand wherever necessary and carefully took us to a spot from where he said the sunrise would be the best. He spread a sheet for us to sit and wait for the morning sunrise. Rightfully, the sunrise was truly fantastic. But since it was a little cloudy, it was not spectacular. We got a good view of the 3 mountains. Oni took a lot of our photos, even suggesting different poses. Next visit was Mt. Bromo. We did not take the horse ride but preferred to walk the distance to the top of Mt. Bromo. The terrain was quite slippery. But whenever I had trouble, Oni would reach out to help. The top of Mt. Bromo was spectacular. Our wish fulfilled! And Oni took a lot of photos and videos, for our memories. He even suggested we sing a Hindi song and we did! It was a song from our ‘Courting Days’. After we got down from Mt. Bromo, we had some photo shoots on top of the Jeep with the Mt. Bromo as the background. To end the memorable tour, we had a good, sumptous breakfast at a decent, neat restaurant. I am a vegetarian, but I had a good choice here. The servings were huge and we were so full. All in all, this trip to Mt. Bromo will remain unforgettable in our memories. Thanks to Baroni of CheapBromo, for having assisted our trip. That is amazing! - Hudy is a very excellent tour guide! He cares about us, and even in the event of bad weather, he always offers alternative options to let us enjoy the magnificent sunrise. The greatness of this journey really cannot be expressed in language. It is strongly recommended to experience it in person, it will be an unforgettable and exciting adventure!

Amazing trip - The schedule is good and the view is beautiful. The guide Hudy is also very helpful to accomplish our journey. In the middle of the journey he will always make sure you will not be cold. It will not be too hot. Also wearing an umbrella to help me shade the sun. He also applied his knowledge to answer a lot of questions we did not know about the local and curious. Other midway tour guides also try their best.

Extra tip for travellers: it’s really cold with strong wind so just bring your warmest winter jacket otherwise you can rent from the shop owner like me for about Rp 20k.

Amazing Mount Bromo - Eye opening and amazing! Sunrise lookout n Mount Bromo is macnificient! We were all take care of! He is make sure that my wife is well taken care of especially when we were climbing up Mount Bromo. Our tour guide, Hudy, is approachable, extremely knowledgeable and easy to communicate! Instantly, Hudy is like my younger son! Punctual to pick up at our hotel. Both journey to n fro was smooth. What an amazing experienced for me n wife visited Surabaya n especially Mount Bromo scenic view!

Sunrise, Bromo crater and Madakaripura waterfall - We had a lovely time on this tour. The organisation was really good. Unexpected highlight were the Madakaripura waterfall and our guide Trista. Even though Trista is only 18 at the moment, she is so professional and has a great approach to people. She did not bore us with information we did not care about and was super supportive trough crater climbing and driving trough curvey roads. Thank you, we can only recommend! Ps the breakfast was good!

Great tour you can only recommend - Great and recommended tour. We had the 1-day tour with Mr. Bromo and waterfall booked. Our guide Melati was very friendly and knew well. So she was able to show us the best spots to admire the Bromo in the sunrise light, as well as later the waterfalls. At both attractions, she was also able to show us great places to take pictures and shot them willingly. Delicious breakfast meals were also provided for the physical well-being. The transport from/to the hotel, as well as to the individual sights, was reliable and pleasant. All in all a great experience that we can only recommend to everyone.
