The best surf lesson ever! - Surfing was an absolute blast! The lesson was very informative and the instructors were amazing. We all had a great time and were able to ride a few waves. I would have signed up for another lesson if I had the time and would definitely recommend this surf lesson to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio.

An amazing day - We had a fantastic time! None of us had ever surfed before and we were a bit nervous. By the end, my 13 year-old was loving it and didn’t want to stop and I was proud to have even gotten upright on the board. My 11 year-old didn’t manage to get up on the board but the experience got him way more comfortable in the waves, rendering it a huge step forward. We each got our own one-on-one instructor. The lesson initially lasted an hour. Then during a fruit and water break, when we were asked how we liked it, I said it was wonderful but short. They offered to continue! Once we finished the lesson portion, we were given access to use their surfboards and boogie boards on our own. They were friendly and accommodating and kept an eye on our belongings to keep them safe while we were in the water. All this on a gorgeous, quiet beach. I found it well worth the price.

Great day surfing! - The surf lessons were so much fun! We each had individual teachers which helped our group of complete beginners. Corey was my instructor and he did a great job talking me through it and cheering me on. 10/10 experience!

Finally learned how to surf at age 41! - Wonderful experience for my first (and second) time surfing! We felt very well taken care of by the whole team, from coordinating pick up location to shuttle service and return to the hotel after - everybody treated us well. The instructors were patient and supportive, cheered me on when I did well and encouraging the many times I fell. They always made sure safety comes first and selected the waves that would work best for me. My wife joined as an observer and loved spending time relaxing on the beach. Would recommend to anyone for their first surfing experience!

Top morning - Had great surfing lessons with the whole family. We were picked up at the hotel. Everyone had their own instructor. Nice guests, good equipment, high waves and beautiful views and after our lesson we could also body plates. Super morning, nice and sporty. Family 15, 18 and 20 years. Jeannet, Snelrewaard

It’s impossible to leave this beach spot! - When in manual Antonio, Costa Rica, you must surf. There are countless choices of surf instructors. Dante’s was a great experience! The prompt hotel pickup, beautiful location and instruction were all top notch. Sebastian was an excellent host and William and Jerome were great instructors- safe, positive and fun! They will set up the non-surfers with lounges and an umbrella and invite you to use it as long as you like. It was impossible to leave! This section of the beach is a bit less crowded than others which is also very inviting. Pineapple and fresh water served after the lessons. You are invited to use boogie boards after or rent a board For a longer session. My 11 year old had a little bit of prior experience, but he surfed countless waves with them healing Dante’s. The Buena Vista restaurant will serve you right in the beach. The guacamole and ceviche were very good and it is certainly convenient. However, it is a bit pricey compared to other local options. Don’t take lessons elsewhere. We watched other surf instructors pushing their clients into waves crowded with swimmers. We watched an instructor elsewhere send a first time surfer directly into a swimmer, injuring both of them. Some other instructors were also using surfboard led without fins. If you want to try surfing, choose Dante’s! It is a good fit regardless of your age!

Wonderful experiences for beginners! Highly recommended! - I had an incredible experience at the surf course at Manuel Antonio Beach with Dante’s water-sports! The pickup service was convenient, making the start of the day stress-free. The education we received was excellent, and the coaches were super supportive and patient, ensuring we all felt confident in the water. The fresh fruits and water provided were a delightful touch, keeping us energized throughout the session. The staff also provided us with rash guards, which was a great added benefit. I highly recommend this surf course for anyone looking to learn or improve their surfing skills in a beautiful location!

The Best Surfing For All Ages - We had the best experience with Dante's Water Sports. We did early AM surf lessons and the beach was quiet and waves perfect for beginners and more advanced alike. All the instructors were kind and their primary goal was that we were having fun and remaining safe. As parents we felt our younger kids (6yo-8yo) were well taken care of. Afterwards we were able to enjoy the beach and borrow their boogie boards. We had no time pressure. The photos taken are incredible and worth it! Thank you Dante sport for this memorable experience and for capturing the moment so well! We all look forward to doing this again some day!!
