Bangkok is full of beautiful temples, palace and of course a beautiful canal or klong which is considered as “Venice of the East”. This convenient city tour will visit three must-see temples - Wat Traimit, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. We will also visit Royal Grand Palace (if option with Grand Palace is selected) and not to be missed Bangkok Canal Sightseeing Tours (if option with Canal Tour is selected) where you will pass by heritage town Big Buddha and Artist House. This will complete a great discovery of Bangkok.

  • Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit) - Wat Traimit in Bangkok is known for housing a 5.5-tonne statue of a seated Buddha. The gold sculpture dates back to the 13th century and measures at nearly 5 metres in height. Located in Chinatown Bangkok, this ornate temple is about 450 metres west of the Hualampong Railway Station
  • Wat Phra Chetuphon - Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long, covered in gold leaf. This an A World Heritage Site
  • Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the ‘Temple of Dawn’) is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.

Great experience - Great to experience some Thai culture and view some of these amazing temples. So much work has gone into all of them photos don't do it justice. Our guide was brilliant, full of knowledge and spoke great English.

Great Half-Day Tour - We got to see the main temples and Buddhas during this tour. Having a tour guide was much easier than having to go to each site by ourselves. Our tour guide Nina was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had.

Great tour for first time visitors having trouble narrowing down the options - Excellent tour for first time visitors who were having trouble deciding which sites to prioritize. Tina was very knowledgeable, explained the history behind each temple and even included additional highlights for us to stop at throughout Bangkok. We traveled by air conditioned van to each site. Fantastic tour, could not recommend it enough!

Wonderful temple tour with Nina - We had a wonderful tour of the beautiful temples with Nina. She was very knowledgable, attentive and helpful providing us with lots of information about Bangkok and each of the temples. We were whisked around the city really efficiently and saw far more than we possibly could have managed on our own.

Must do tour! - What an incredible trip! We enjoyed it so much and our guide, Mr Panu, was the best!!!!! He was so informative, friendly and funny. We appreciated being collected from our hotel and then travelling in an air conditioned minivan to each stop. Mr Panu gave us the history of each temple and guided us around with ease. It was an added bonus to do this trip in the morning as the first temple ( temple of the golden Buddha ) was opening when we got there and it was very quiet. The other temples were busy but Mr Panu swept us through the crowds, purchased tickets and guided us smoothly. The canal boat ride is a must do as it really showed us another side of Bangkok and my 2 teenage boys loved seeing water montor lizards and an otter along the banks. I woukd definitely recommend this trip, especially if you are short on time in Bangkok and want to experience a lot in a short period of time. A big thanks to Mr Panu too! 😀😀

Great Bangkok intro even for those who visited before. Local insights/historical context of culturally rich world city - Nina, our tour guide, is a phenomenal professional and kind woman. Her regional and historical knowledge, cultural understanding, and genuine happiness to introduce visitors to Bangkok and beyond shows in how she led our half day Bangkok Buddhist temples tour and windshield highlights of the city as our driver transported to each location. She is a Thai National Treasure!

THE VAN DRIVER STOLE MY MONEY - The tour guide was awesome. She guided us every step of the way. It was a quick tour we finished early.. BUT I lost 40 thousand pesos or 28,000 BHAT. I just left my bag in the van which the driver is the only person in the VAN.
