Love This Tour! - We enjoyed all aspects of this tour. Walking on the bridge while hearing the history from our tour guide, Rach, was fascinating. Traveling on the train was my favorite, the scenery is beautiful. The buffet lunch was good, the view from the restaurant was spectacular! We watched the movie "Bridge on the River Kwai" on the the flight to Bangkok, that really helped us appreciate the history. We highly recommend this tour!

River Kwai Trip Amazing - The tour guide was very helpful and friendly with a nice smile. She took us to amazing places and we got lots of excellent photos. At the end of the trip she explained how best to get back to my hotel via the train network.

Second trip, still a fitting memorial - It’s changed a lot since I was there ten years ago. Much more commercial than it was then . The little museum has been updated and original photos in plastic sleeves are gone, some lost and now rendered as paintings. As much as I enjoyed the new museum, the nostalgia of the old facility was nice. Our guide, Nina, was great.

Great day to visit Bridge over the river Kwai and travel on the Burma-Thai railway. - Early pick up due to distance to travel today. Picked up and dropped off to hotel. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Visited all the places included in the tour however Was a bit disappointed to find out on the way, that if we wanted to take the jetboat ride to the first bridge it was 300Baht each and if we wanted to be guaranteed a seat in the train for the 1hr 40min ride it was another 300Baht each. This should have been included in the price or otherwise state this in exclusion list. Was disappointed that we were seated on the right side of the train and missed out on photos of the train going over the bridge over the river Kwai before our final stop. Tip try to sit on left side . The bus was a bit tired and air conditioner wasn’t cooling well. Lunch was a nice buffet lunch. Plenty of time to walk over the train lines and bridges and photo opportunities. Still recommended tour just be aware of extra costs on the day to bring extra cash.

Unexpected expenses - An extra charge of 600 baht upon arrival to the tour for long tail boat and train car. We had no idea until we were on the Van.

Complaint - Dear TripAdvisor Customer Service, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a trip we booked through TripAdvisor on 21st June in Thailand. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected due to several significant issues. First, the mini bus provided for the trip was extremely uncomfortable, which made the journey unpleasant. To make matters worse, the bus broke down, leaving us stranded at a garage for almost two hours in extremely hot conditions. While the tour operator was apologetic, this delay severely impacted our schedule. Our itinerary included a visit to the War Museum, followed by a boat ride to the bridge over the River Kwai, and a train ride with lunch. However, due to the breakdown, we were unable to see the entire War Museum. After reaching our destination, we were supposed to return to the museum, but instead, we had only a quick walk on the bridge and a brief 10-minute visit to the cemetery. We were only a short distance from our next destination when the breakdown occurred, but it took considerable time for another bus to be ordered and arrive to pick us up. This delay caused us to miss out on valuable time at our planned destinations and resulted in us being two hours late returning to our hotel. We were supposed to be back between 5:30 to 6:30 PM, but we didn’t return until 8:30 PM. I understand that mechanical issues can occur, but the lack of a comfortable vehicle and the significant delay were unacceptable. We were looking forward to a smooth and enjoyable experience, but these issues severely affected our trip. I hope that TripAdvisor will take this feedback seriously and address these concerns to ensure future trips are more reliable and comfortable for other customers. Additionally, I would appreciate information on any compensation or reimbursement for the inconvenience we experienced. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Steve Jones
