Excellent Trip - Excellent trip with our very knowledgeable guide Rach. We enjoyed all the different components of the day - Jeath Museum, long tailed boat trip to the Bridge (not included in our trip, but it was in some others, but able to pay when there), train trip ( worth upgrading, which we did), walks on railway lines both at end of train trip and over River Kwai bridge. Excellent buffet lunch at restaurant with stunning views. Also visit to war graves, which was very moving. It was a long day, made longer by road accident on way back, but welll worth it. An added bonus - Rach took photos throughout the day and sent them to us all. Came away with a much greater understanding of what it took to build the bridge. Thank you 😊

Long but worthwhile day trip - It was like a private tour for my family (4 of us). Paid extra for pick up at our hotel at 7am. Our guide, Jira and the driver were very on time. The minivan was clean and comfortable for the long journey to and fro. Bottled water was provided. Buffet lunch was nice with a view of the river. Special mention to our guide, Jira who was very knowledgeable and spoke good English so we could understand her well. She shared a lot of interesting information about the places, and also ensured that we got the best seats on the train. She walked along with us at the small stalls after lunch and helped as translator to the shopkeepers when we were buying souvenirs. We got back to the hotel at almost 7pm but it was a good day trip, worth the money and time.

Great day on River Kwai - Long day but worth it. Our guide Rach and driver were excellent. Timing all day was perfect as we had enough time to walk across the bridge on the river Kwai before the train came. Did a long boat ride which was an optional extra but I really enjoyed it. Train ride on the Death Railway was interesting but the highlight of the day was the exceptional scenery when we got off the train. Buffet lunch was excellent too. All in all a wonderful day. So much sad history which we should all know about.

Day Trip to Bridge on the River Kwai. - A moving experience taking you back to what it was like to be under Japanese captivity during WW II. If one has seen and was captivated by the movies, "Bridge on the River Kwai" and "The Railway Man", one should take this moving day trip.

Good Historical Trip - Not such great guide - Whilst we booked through Get Your Guide, we had a company called Sunrise Tours, (guide Om), not such a great company, or at least the tour guide whilst fulfilling his role was not engaged with the group, or in answering questions. The actual train ride was good, as was the museum and history of the area. There is a 2 day trip to this area, we were going to book, however glad that we did not. Ensure you book a seat on the train, (payment in Thai Bhat).
