- Humble Administrator’s Garden - Humble Administrator’s Garden (or named Zhouzheng Garden), often considered to be the best in southern China. Originally built as part of a retirement residence for a former government official named Wang Xianchen who longed for the life of a humble man, hence the name, in 1509 during Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Humble Administrator’s Garden was established upon old relics of a home and a temple. Now It has been listed by the “ UNESCO “ as the cultural heritage.

It’s a fun experience to take the speedy train (it’s an adventure to travel by bullet train for the round trips from Shanghai to Suzhou and use the local transportation in Suzhou). The tour lasts for about 8-9 hours, and you can choose to visit scenic spots like Humble Administrator’s Garden, take a boat ride in the canal, explore Pinjiang Road with a tricycle ride, visit the Master of Nets Garden, or see Tiger Hill.
