Tour in Zhouzhuang Water Town, Hanshan Temple and Panmen Gate - I always adore the ancient canal township in Suzhou and finally my dream of visiting this beautiful place came to real. It was exactly as seen on picture and the ancient resident building still well maintained in its original condition. My tour guide, Becky did a fantastic job. She describes the background of the places we visited and I can easily imagine the life back in those days. I also learnt something new apart from what I have already read about the ancient China. Becky was very passionate with her job and patient with me despite I always pause to capture the beautiful scenery. Not forget to mention our driver, Mr Chu is a very safe and cautious driver. I felt very safe during my 1-hour journey from Suzhou town to Zhouzhuang water town. Double thumbs up!!

Fantastic full-day tour of Suzhou and Zhouzhuang - Their contact email is difficult to find, so for anyone who needs it, here it is: [email protected] This tour company was very professional and flexible. I wanted to visit Master of Net’s Garden, Lingering Garden, Panmen Gate, and ZhouZhuang Water Town with gondola ride. For a full day tour with 2 adults and 2 children, it was 620RMB per person, which included transportation/driver, tickets, water, and guide. The day started a bit rocky for us because our one of our pre-ordered train tickets couldn't get processed (one digit was missing from the passport #) and they were sold out for that time at the station. We then had to change all our tickets for the next available train, which was an hour later than we had planned. I contacted the tour company and they were very nice about the situation and told us it was not a problem and that our guide will be there to meet us at our new arrival time. Once we finally made it to Suzhou station (very fast train ride from Shanghai), our guide, Joyce, was there to greet us. She was very energetic and friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The gardens were beautiful, but the highlight of our trip was Zhouzhuang water village. The architecture and waterways were stunning. The only negative part of our entire trip was the lunch we had there --the restaurant we were taken to was not very good. After a long day (we ended around 6:30pm), Joyce accompanied us back to the Suzhou train station where she helped us buy train tickets to Shanghai. Since she knows the train system much better than we did, it made the process easier and we really appreciated the fact that she took the time to do that for us. Overall, a very nice and full day of seeing beautiful sights!
