- Humble Administrator’s Garden - Typically, start your tour at the famed Suzhou garden, choose to visit one or two UNESCO gardens such as The Humble Administrator’s garden, Lingering garden, Master of the Nets Garden. Follow your guide to explore the beautiful gardens dotted with ponds, exquisite rockeries, bridges, pavilions, towers. Immerse yourself in the ancient charm while listening the interesting commentary from your guide.
- Pingjiang Road - Next head to Pingjiang historic road, a colorful old street along ancient water way, here enjoy a nice stroll along stone paved lanes, known as the “ Little oriental Venice”, take in the beautiful scenery with ancient architecture, stone bridges ,canals, willow trees, interesting local arts, crafts, you could also choose to enjoy a peaceful gondola ride here.
- Shantang Street - Take a break and savor a delightful local lunch.Your guide will help you recommend base on your own dietary requests. After lunch take a fun walk along China No.1 ancient street.
- Tiger Hill - Continue your afternoon tour to Tiger Hill, one of the popular Suzhou attractions, here see the famous No.1 leaning pagoda in East, you may also enjoy the light walking up till the top Huqiu Hill.
- Suzhou Museum - As mentioned, your itinerary is totally flexible and if time permits you may choose to include other sites such as Silk Museum/Factory to learn the fascinating silk process from the tiny little worms to the beautiful fabric, Panmen Gate, Hanshan Temple, Beisi Pagoda, Lingering Garden etc.
After the wonderful tour you will be dropped off at Suzhou hotel or Suzhou railway station if you travel by train.

Very competent and cordial tour guide - Very competent and smart tour guide. She spoke English very well and explained a lot well. She had extensive knowledge of the history of China and could answer all our questions. The meal at the end was a nice conclusion to the quite successful trip. In addition, she was able to help us with other things.

Beautiful gardens - Lulu was a great tour guide and made accommodations for our request to go to 2 silk museums and an opera show! Her food recommendations and insights to each place made the day feel special.

Remarkable guiding by Lulu - The tour was truly flexible, with us requesting to visit Humble Administrator's Garden, Tiger Hill (see from afar) and Hanshan Temple. Lulu was an amazing guide who could make the stories of these places accessible to us, in both English and Chinese (we had requested for her to go bilingual). She also made great recommendations to us and also patiently answered all our questions regarding Suzhou today. We left the tour feeling we know Suzhou and China much better and also made a new local friend!

Overpriced and would not recommend - After having been traveling through China during the past 20 days and having worked with a multitude of guides, this one has been the only bad experience.
First of all, we felt like there was not much information shared by the guide (Lulu) and sometimes information was given that was inaccurate.
During a big part of the tour it felt like the guide’s focus was on showing us establishments of her choice where we could shop even though we were clearly not interested.
After lunch at a place she recommended (which we did not particularly enjoy), we agreed to go for tea at a center she recommended. Once we arrived, the guide did not know where the center was and we had to walk around until a man came to pick us up. It turned out to be a business owned by some friend of hers with exorbitant prices. It was not a tourist place of any kind nor did it have any historical value. The space was deserted. We indicated to the guide our dissatisfaction and she apologized repeatedly and told us it was her first visit there.
After four hours of touring, at approximately 2pm, having gone through all the sites on the itinerary except for the silk museum, we decided to end the tour with the guide early and continue on our own. The guide understood our point of view and respected that we did not want to continue with the service.
The city is very beautiful and visitable without any tour or guide and we feel like it is unacceptable that they charge more than 100€ per person WITHOUT including any entrance fee (only for guide and driver). All the tours we have previously booked in five other cities in China have been cheaper considering the price of consumption in each region and have provided a much more professional service. We are very disappointed and would completely not recommend the tour.

Not worth it - The tour is overpriced, they charge 443$ for a group of 5 for a city tour which we could have done ourselves for much much cheaper. We thought this tour is to zhouzhuang and other areas, that’s why we booked it but it turned out to be a city tour only. They should have named it flexible suzhou CITY TOUR instead of suzhou flexible private day tour. The name is misleading to start with. The included lunch was NOT great, the food was not tasty and the owner of the tour even got angry with us after the bad review saying the lunch was expensive. We’ve been travelling in China and we know the price and the lunch wasn’t worth that much. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and explore the city by yourself. The tour is NOT worth it.

Overpriced tour, not worth it - We booked the tour without even realizing this is just a city tour. It’s our fault not to read the description but they should have said so on the title of the tour as well. We were 5 people and paid 443$ for a city tour which we could have done ourselves. The tour is incredibly overpriced and totally not worth it. It was such a ripoff. The included lunch was very disappointing and didnt even taste good. DO NOT book this tour.
