Fantastic 2 day south coast trip - This highly recommended trip with an overnight stay in Arctic Adventures hotel, was fantastic. Ronan, our guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel was comfortable and the food was very good (especially the lamb). We stopped at a number of waterfalls (Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skogafoss Waterfall and 2 smaller but beautiful falls with fewer visitors), the lava field and the black sand beach. The highlight was the visit to the Crystal Ice Cave and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon with nearby diamond beach, which was stunning! We were treated to such incredible scenery and learnt loads.

Definitely worth seeing - Cool experience. You should have seen it.
But don't expect too much. It is a small hike on the glacier and a cavern that is really very small (not narrow, but quickly looked at).
There are many tourists on site. Still, it's a cool experience.

Super! - Amazing experience! Our guide was responsible, he explained everything to us, and could answer any questions. He never rushed us and it was actually one of the best side of this experience being able to meet him!

Amazing ice cave /glacier walk - Laura gave us great information and safety guidance. She was funny and helpful! Great picture taking opportunities - easy walk to and on the glacier. In the ice cave you have to let your eyes adjust then it's amazing to see!

A must do on your Iceland trip! - This tour was so cool (no pun intended 😉)! We had the best time. Our guide Tom was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel taken care throughout the entire experience. It was very cold and windy - dress accordingly. The caves were so blue. We also learned that this is one of the few places in the world you can view ice caves. Thank you, Tom and Arctic Adventures for a once and a lifetime experience!

Amazing and knowledgeable tour guide - We had a great time on this excursion. Our tour guide Helga was fantastic and taught us all about Icelandic wildlife, nature and history on the drive to and from the glacier in her super jeep. The cave itself was really interesting and definitely worth a visit. Not so blue as some of the pictures you see but our guide even knew where the best photo spots were to make the colours really come to life!

Completely disappointed with such disrespectful and inhumane behavior. - I felt unwell and lost consciousness, I lost a lot of blood and as a result I was very weak.
All this 4 hours before the excursion
I still went there and only my children went out
The person there told me that he would send an email to explain the situation and that I would be reimbursed.
Since I got back I have sent emails, but they don't want to know anything
It was necessary to notify 24 hours in advance
It's shameful and scandalous
I would have had to be dead to be reimbursed
It didn't cost them anything, it's still crazy not to refund, when it costs 230 euros and already quite disappointed not to have been able to do the excursion
So be careful, you don't have the right to have an accident before the excursion

Unethical company and tours are all the same - pick a different company please. - PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. There are many tour companies and if you want to do business with ethical ones then there are plenty of others.
short story - you need hiking boots to do this tour. I only had tennis shoes. I asked the chatGPT bot on their website if I could rent boots for this tour and it informed me that I could and quoted me an actual price on renting them. Then I couldn't add them to my cart - and the bot informed to email after the booking to get the boots. I did so.
It turns out THEY DON'T RENT BOOTS AT ALL for this tour. I emailed and called multiple times the day before the tour and they never answered me. Finally - the morning of the tour I got in touch with them on the phone and the lady (her name is Aliona) informed me that they don't even rent boots for the tour and I would not be allowed to go.
I proceeded to email customer service to let them know about their chatbot misrepresenting to me and even quoting me prices for the rental boots. They have now proceeded to inform me that it's my fault and I should've known they don't rent boots, and their cancellation policy states no refunds before 24 hours before the tour, which is when I booked it. I sent them the chat transcript showing them where the chatbot lied and misrepresented them and said if the chatbot had only told me they didn't rent boots then I never would've booked the tour, but it actually told me they did rent boots and gave me a price and so I proceeded.
Over and over they continue to tell me that it's my fault and that their chatbot doesn't actually represent them as a company and it's for informational purposes only - even though it quotes you prices for tours, gear, etc, and they installed it on their website.
Iceland is amazing, and bring hiking boots for crampons instead of tennis shoes, but please do me a favor and let's let this company go out of business and do business with companies that understand how ethical business should be ran. They've admitted to me in writing that the chatbot said the wrong thing and yet they're hiding behind their 'cancellation policy' and stating it's my fault that I didn't get in touch with them before booking, even though the chatbot told me to email after booking.
tl;dr - Even when they acknowledge in writing that they messed up they will still keep your money. They informed me that they rent boots for this tour so I booked and tried to rent boots. Then after I booked they inform me they don't rent boots for this tour and I can't have a refund. <--- all of this is acknowledged by them in writing.
They're going to respond to this and say "We're so sorry this happened blah blah blah here's what you did wrong" but all they had to do was issue me a refund and they won't - even though the tour went fine and I was a last minute booking that wouldn't have been filled.
They have even told me a week after I returned that I did not show up to the tour to give a good showing and that there would be others that could've rented me boots at the meeting point of all of the other companies. How silly. I was 15 mins from the meeting point and I called them in the morning and I was told I would not be allowed to go on the tour. They never told me on the phone that I could rent boots from another company. In fact, she told me if I showed up then they wouldn't let me go anyways. Seriously - this has been the most maddening experience.
Choose a different company - ALL of the tours meet at the same place and the guides jump around to different tour companies and you go to the same spots so they're all relatively the same. Just please pick a company with better ethics if that matters to you.

TERRIBLE COMPANY - DO NOT BOOK WITH ARCTIC ADVENTURES!!! We drove 3 hours to find out our tour was cancelled on site without any notice beforehand. Still have not received a refund.
