One of the best tours of my 20+ years of travelling - This was one of the best tours of my life so far. I've been to 30+ countries and done dozens of tours everywhere, but this is right up there with the best ones, The locations we visited were out of this world, the guides (David and Holt) were spectacular in every way, and when the tour finished, our hearts were filled with joy from the great day we had. The 3 locations we visited (big cave plus 2 smaller ice "holes" / caves) were just out of this world. The pace of tour was perfect, no rushing, all safety communication was clear and easy to understand, informational conversations were super interesting and full of fun facts and both guides were friendly in a very natural and casual way. Holt took some great pictures of us also ;) Both him and David have great chemistry and it also transpires into the tour itself. Such a pleasure. I will definitely use this company again next time and I can highly recommend it! Shout out to David and Holt for providing us such a fantastic day! (Me, my wife and our 17 year old daughter)

Incredible tour! - Iga was an incredible guide. Because everyone in our group followed directions, we were able to optimize our experience. Oh, and the tour was extended just because our guide wanted to show us as much as possible. Safety was the #1 priority closely followed by our enjoyment. Highly recommend Ice Explorers.

Highly Recommended - This tour was a highlight of our trip (and we did the entire ring road!) you cannot think of a better organized professional safe tour. Amazing Iga was our tour guide. She was very knowledgable, funny, courteous, and understanding. In addition to giving us very clear guidance on the day, she was the most easy going, sociable and very attentive to everyone’s need. There were 15 people in the group but I felt like it was a private tour as Iga had a personal approach to each and every one of us and made us feel welcome. The ice cave was so very gorgeous and the hike, although not the easiest, was very rewarding. What an amazing day in the gorgeous Vatnajokull! Thank you, Ice Explorers!

Unbelievable scenes with excellent guide! - First of all, deeply thanks to our guide Holt! He’s so responsible, gentle, patient and willing to answer all the questions. He told us a lot about the glacier and volcanoes and try his best to let us enjoy the Ice Caves separately from other tourist groups so that he can take pictures as we want without disturb. We were lucky in a small group and at a really proper time point to be able to take an adventure in another cave. Even he hasn’t been there in for a while and it’s even more breathtaking than the last time he’s been there, as he said. This natural beauty is just marvellous and unbelievable. But every time he checked that everything was fine before we stepped in. And for the tour itself, I think it should really be the best one if you have enough time for the blue ice cave and glacier. Everything is perfect and many tours would just explore the caves and it ends in like 1 hour. But this gonna take 5-6 hours and can somehow avoid the rush hour. Just remember to wear waterproof shoes and warm clothes, it can assure you have a good experience despite bad weather. If you’re looking for a tour to explore the ice cave, just take this one organized by Ice Explorer!! The blue color is really breathtaking and unforgettable.

Staying cool with a Glacier cave tour! - What a great tour! Exploring the ice caves with Markus was amazing. He had lots of insight into the glacier and made sure everyone was safe during our trip. The ride out to the glacier, he pointed out whales that were breaching in the ocean and reindeer in the fields as we were driving. The pictures from the tour really are amazing when you turn off your lights. You can see all the things trapped in the ice and the guides are full of information about the section of the glacier you're under.
