• Jokulsarlon - We meet at Jökulsárlón and travel from there for about 30-40 minutes on our Super Jeeps to Breiðamerkurjökull. Where we will visit the everchanging Ice caves.
• Breiðamerkurjökull - The ice caves are formed naturally and each fall the guides go “ice cave hunting”, looking for new caves and see if any of the old ones are still there. So, the structure and condition can vary significantly between years. Each day, the guides decide which cave they will visit, all depending on the weather and, of course, the safety of the guests.

Join us for an incredible family-friendly Ice Cave tour in the Vatnajökull glacier. If you’re heading to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, this excursion is a must-do, offering a truly unique experience. Your adventure kicks off at Jökulsárlón, where your guides will meet you and provide the necessary equipment for the ice caves. You’ll then hop into a modified 4x4 or super jeep to reach the caves. The drive takes about 30 minutes and is filled with excitement and breathtaking scenery. The guides are both informative and entertaining, sharing facts about the area, local stories, fairytales, and anything else you might want to know. Upon arrival, there’s a short walk to the ice caves, where your guides will continue to share insights about the magnificent Vatnajökull glacier. Inside the cave, you’ll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, and simply enjoy your vacation.
