A perfect, personalized tour!! - This tour was AMAZING and I would have no hesitation recommending!! Maximum 6 people in each group which felt so special, considering all other groups were saw were 10+. We visited 3 ice caves on March 29th - unbelievably, we were the ONLY people at every single cave! Our guide said that because he only does 2 tours/day, he tries to time his so they aren’t at the exact same time as other big tour companies. We never felt rushed which was so appreciated - we were able to take our time at each cave and got to take all the photos & our tour lasted almost 3 hours. It was VERY windy on this day, so the walks in between caves (while not very far), were relatively strenuous because of the wind. However, I have a low fitness level and I was tired after but managed fine! Waterproof shoes are a must especially later in the season as the caves slowly melt in the daily sun. Our guide was passionate and engaging - you won’t be disappointed in this tour!!

Boggi is the BEST! - There are a lot of reputable tour companies with great reviews that offer this tour, but if you do your research and read all the reviews, you'll quickly understand why it's best to book with Ice Cave in Iceland. My mother, daughter, and I experienced this tour today and we couldn't have been more impressed. Boggi is the real deal - born and raised in Iceland and a true expert in his field. His tours are with smaller groups, which allows for a more customized and enjoyable experience. Every other group we saw today had more than double the amount of people - we were happy to spend less time waiting on others before advancing. We also felt much safer with Boggi. Throughout the tour, he pointed out safety details that only confirmed we went with the right guide. Boggi is patient, kind, and a true professional - oh, and don't let me forget - he's quite the storyteller. He had everyone laughing on the ride there and back. Book this tour now! You won't regret it! Highly recommend!

The best experience! - This was one of the highlights to our trip to Iceland. The caves were incredible, including an unusual black ice cave!
Boggi is all you can ask for in a guide - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. As well as knowledge of the glacier, he shared stories on the drive over and back and was only too happy to take photos or answer questions.
We loved the experience and thoroughly recommend choosing Ice Caves in Iceland over the bigger companies. We got to go to 3 different caves whereas those visiting with larger companies got to visit only 1 cave and were queueing waiting to get in!
Thank you Boggi!

Best tour to see amazing ice caves! - This tour was awesome and one of everyone's favorite parts of our trip to Iceland! Boggi was entertaining, informative, and accommodating. He made sure we had plenty of time in the caves and coordinated the tour at a different time than the big tour groups, so we pretty much had the glacier to ourselves. (He also took some great photos of our group for us.) We went to three caves that were spectacular, and I can't imagine having a better experience than what we had.

Incredible experience! - Highly recommended tour. Boggi (name of the owner's car) specifically chooses two departure times (8.30/12.00) where the caves are not crowded to allow you to fully enjoy the experience. A lover of his homeland, Boggi will be able to explain anecdotes and curiosities about Iceland and the glacier to you in an engaging and entertaining way.
Absolutely an experience to do.
Last but not least the value for money for a service that is absolutely not touristy like the others.

Great experience - Highly Recommend - The trip was excellent - Boggie was great guide and took the extra step to ensure the group has a great experience. We visited 3 different caves with different colors - was a great experience.
The groups Boggie takes are small which also adds to an exceptional experience.
Highly recommend !!

A must-do when visiting Iceland! - This is a small, independently-owned operation. Boggi picked up our group of six (two families) and made it such an amazing experience.
In the ~30 min car ride, he gave us info on the history of the glacier and lagoon, and made it a fun lesson. Once at the base of the glacier, he handed out helmets and crampons to ensure our safety, making sure we knew the rules for staying safe and having a great experience.
We saw three ice caves, hiking along the glacier to get to each one. It felt very personal and private: no waiting in line to see the caves, no rush as we took photos and marveled at the beautiful caves. He let us take our time to see what we wanted to see and take the photos we wanted to take. He even warned us about the areas in the caves that had melted so we could avoid stepping in the deeper puddles. We had teenagers in our group and they were blown away be the beauty of the caves and the photos they were able to take.
We highly recommend Boggi and his tour. If we were to do this again, we would only want to tour with Boggi. He takes care to make sure it’s a special experience for all his clients.

INCREDIBLE - In Iceland there are many tourists, some for work and some for pleasure. But Boggi, born and raised in Iceland, will make you perceive the love, respect and magnificence for his land. Immerse yourself in an incredible tour of the ice caves with boggi that will make you laugh, but at the same time will make you learn things you would never have thought of. We drove almost 4 hours to get here for his tour, and we would do it again 100 times. In the caves we had time to admire the ice sculptures and savor a moment that perhaps will never be repeated in our lives. A guide that doesn't rush you but rather recommends you look again and again at the same point to conceive all the shades of colours, is what you are looking for. IT DESERVES
