Experience in Iceland - This is an amazing experience! Everything is very well organized, the meeting point is clear, the equipment and instructions are given very professionally. At each step our guide gives us the explanations and recommendations to follow for the glacier walk. Our guide was great, very invested and passionate. I recommend the experience with local guide with eyes closed! Small committee and sincerity.

Fantastic adventure - What a great experience „hiking“ on the Glacier and exploring an ice cave! Very impressive adventure and worth every minute spent. And the staff of Local Guide was awesome. Very kind, helpful and top notch professional. Special thanks to our guide Soffia for guiding us on this tour. Highly recommended trip.

You will not be disappointed 5* - Our guide, Sophia, was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable and fun. There had been very heavy rain for a couple of days before our trip so the ice cave was pretty small but the tour was still amazing. We hiked along the glacier. It was very safe - we were given good clear instructions and had helmets and crampons provided. I cannot rate this trip highly enough.

Ice Cave Tour - A fantastic experience! First time on the glacier, but definitely worth repeating! Our Guide, Sofìa, entertained us for the three hours of the tour with a lot of information about glaciers and Iceland in general, also introducing us to some of the local culture. Walking on ice with crampons and inside the quarry dug by water, following the steps of an experienced person, definitely counts as an experience to try. A highly recommended tour

Ice cave tour - Originally booked an ice cave tour which was mostly a glacier hike with a small ice cave tour at the end of the. Still very cool experience being on the glacier.

Beautiful views but I... - Beautiful views but I wish our guide would have given us more background on the glaciers and formations. I felt it was a little awkward because the guide didn’t really talk much. Still a fun experience to see and I’d recommend.

Not Recommended - The guides who were contracted were great. Sadly, the company did not do a good job of giving advance warning of a significant change in the meet up point and a shift in itinerary. Multiple groups were impacted when they changed the location last minute (I'm talking less than 24 hours notice) to a gas station that was 45 mins away from the original meetup. I heard their employees mention that 4 other groups didn't see the email and were missing their tours or forced into the afternoon time slot. Also, they never told us we should check our email for last minute changes, luckily for us we were nervous and checked our spam mail the night prior. On top of that, the full day tour advertised turned into a 4 hour experience instead. What was classified as a cave tour was a walk thru a tiny tunnel (nice but not special or a cave) and then a casual 3 km walk around the glacier. Iceland is of course nice and the glacier itself was cool, but having been on a few glacier tours in other parts of the world, I'd recommend you save your money or go with a provider that is more honest and communicates better, if you must. Additionally based on the conversation I overheard between their employees, they clearly knew of the change to the location etc. a few days prior and withheld the info from us until the last minute to avoid any customer cancellations (by waiting till after their 24 hour cancellation period had ended) as a result of the significant changes to the day. I'll add that this totally screwed up our plans to visit Diamond Beach / Jokusalaron Lagoon on that day, since we expected to be visiting the glacier closer to that area and were instead rerouted to an area much further away. Also, when I inquired about the changes they did not offer any partial refunds and tried to pretend that we were getting a better experience. The fact of the matter is they were trying to cut costs, communicated poorly and threw a bunch of different BS reasons to me by email about how they're running their business at a loss etc. - as though that is any of my concern. You have been warned.
