Embark on a memorable 3-hour group tour, capped at 15 participants, of a stunning branch of the Vatnajökull glacier, perfect for families. A certified glacier guide will equip you with crampons and ice axes, providing necessary instructions for their use before you step onto the icy surface. On your journey, gain insights into the glacier’s characteristics and history, as your guide expertly navigates through a mesmerizing landscape of deep crevasses, slender ridges, and frozen sculptures. Its proximity allows you to spend two full hours exploring the glacier. This easily manageable glacier walk doesn’t require any prior experience.

Awesome experience - We had a magical experience with our tourguide Przemek on the glacier hike.
He led us across the glacier with much expertise, enthusiasm and passion. We had a lot of fun and even forgot about the rainy weather.

Awesome! - We had a really cool experience on the ice, with beautifull weather. Which made it only more majestic! Our tourguide Przemek was informative and funny, would definitely ask for him if I come back!

Unforgettable glacier walk - Led by Guide Lucian Negrut made a fantastic walk across the glacier. What an experience that has become unforgettable thanks to him. He is a reliable and professional Guide who has always put safety and personal experience first during the hike. He gave a lot of explanations and took beautiful pictures several times with our own phone. He took no risks and made the walk a truly special experience!

Amazing experience in an amazing surrounding - Despite of heavy rain we had an awesome experience on the glacier with our driver Brook and our guide Przemyslaw. So much explanations, beautiful spots they took us to. As we had booked the latest tour of the day there were not many other groups on the glacier. Thanks to Przemys for making this is truly remarkable experience. It was „megageil“

Fantastic glaciar family hike - We, my daughter of 12 and I, had a fantastic morning on the glaciar hike. A little nervous in the beginning, especially because I am a little afraid of heights. But our guide, Mateo Caramés, immediately made us feel reassured. We had a fantastic morning on the glacier.

You can’t go wrong with this amazing tour - This trip blew our minds from start to finish. Very organized and knowledgeable staff helped us gear up properly with quality gear. Very sturdy bus takes you on the short ride to the tongue of the glacier.
There were 20 people on our group which was divided into 2. Our guide Shemek was newer to the company and we had an additional guide Esther who was a more experienced guide. Together they made an incredible team. So knowledgeable. Full of excellent information to share. Very aware of the needs of the group always ensuring that everyone was safe with additional support provided as needed. I have been on many adventure tours around the world and this one tops the list. Incredible sights and a world class outfit!!!

Glacier walk - We really have had a beautiful trip on the glacier with our guide Isabella. Walking safely on spikes on ice while enjoying the view of the glacier. Interesting facts were shared and all questions answered. Thanks a lot for the great experience.

Very nice, were hoping for more - We clearly had a good time, because two hours on the ice felt like 10 minutes and we would have been happy to stay longer. Kam the guide was super nice and helpful. But, as other people had noted, this is just walking around on ice, no actual climbing or anything remotely advantageous and the cool equipment - harness, helmet, ax - are just for show.
