Excellent experience - We did the late-night tour and had a great time. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny (and local). There was plenty of time in the lava tube to take photos and ask questions. The total darkness at the end of the tour was a cool experience.

Breathtaking - The tour guide was hilarious and told us a lot of interesting information, facts, etc. We spent a moment in pure pitch black at the end of the 400m tour, which felt surreal. Only downside is that we did not see any stalagmites/stalactites/crystals.

Lava tunnel - a must do on your visit to Iceland! - Our guide, Mac, did an awesome job explaining the geology of the lava tunnel and also helping us imagine what it would have been like to be a cave explorer before safety measures were put in place. Would definitely recommend!

Fun Family experience! - Our guide was great at answering all our questions and at taking some family pictures for us. It was a fun tour. Make sure to dress warm as it gets cool in the cave and wear good shoes as the surface is uneven.

Excellent tour - Great tour, the perfect blend of fascinating and fun. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and made sure everyone got in and out safely. They even have an EV charger out front! We were two adults and a teen; wear good boots and you'll have a ball.

Well worth it! - It was a very nice excursion from Reykjavík, that was much less expensive than the cruise ship excursions from the ship we came on. A very unique experience. Well worth the cost.

TOP TOUR with TOP Guide -> Worth it - Great interesting tour! A lot of information about lava, its spread, the tunnel as well as discovery and exploration. The guide was really great, he conveyed the information with a lot of wit and fun. Tunnel can be discovered over about 400 m, the remaining 1000m only if you book the extreme climbing tour. Those who freeze quickly should put on a thick jacket.
