Lava tour May 2024 - Great tour especially in early May since there are still icicles in the tunnel. Our guide Sóley was very knowledgeable. Bring layers, gloves and winter hat, Iceland is very windy.

Magnificent experience - Magnificent experience! Lava Tunnel looks like out of this world when in fact it's very much deep in this world. I highly recommend including this unique place on your Golden Circle route. And the guide Dimitrios is great story teller!

Short, but recommended - Wanted to do the full run, but wasnt allowed to, due to shoo limitations which werent very well stated. Regardless even though i felt the tour was a bit short, it was very beautifull and worth it!

Beautiful natural phenomenon but too expensive for what you get - + Beautiful nature + well maintained + excellent guide + Nice to experience total darkness - short excursion 50 minutes we were outside again. - helmets with lights ... if you look around and half of them have their lights on, you are always blinded. - way too expensive compared to what you get - several groups in the cave at the same time... you can hardly take a photo anywhere without people in it
