Fun in the sand - A well run and great fun activity. Was a bit nervous after reading some mixed reviews but everything went smoothly. An excellent guide and highly recommend it.

Highly recommended - Would highly recommend. Activity is run by Desert Explorers. Very well organised. Picked up from hotel on time and had a guide to myself for the 3 hours which comprised 2 hours quad biking over the dunes and 1 hr sand surfing. Lots of fun.

Great Swakopmund Quadbiking - Pick-up for our excursion was on time, and the excursion itself was unbelievable. Our guide, Armando, was amazing and really let us have fun during quad biking and sandboarding!

Fun, fun, fun - 3 hours including pick-up and drop-off at the guesthouse, 0.5 l water.
A short briefing and helmet fitting, then off we go. We practice on the drive into the dunes, as we had already driven quads on holiday a few years ago, so that was enough. It's fun (nothing else expected), as is the sandboarding. We chose this tour because it was the only 3-hour offer on Tripadvisor. We would do it again.

Incredible! - The tour itself and the management are incredible! Highly recommend. Would give a 5 if it wasn't for the ticket confusion.
Be careful booking on Viator as the tickets don't mention the meeting time clearly if you request a collection. It's half an hour before the time on the ticket. If we hadn't passed the same tour operator while driving around exploring Swakopmund we would have missed our tour. When the driver didn't show to collect us we went to the tour site we passed which happened to be the same tour we had booked through a third party. Either go straight to Desert Explorer on the outskirts of town south heading towards Walvis Bay or note the time on the ticket and arrive more than half an hour before.

Tour guide was a no-show - The tour guide was a no-show. After receiving the ticket which included the meeting address and exact location on google maps, I waited there outside for 30 minutes looking all over for any sort of tour vehicle with nobody in sight. Not on the street, nor in the parking lot, nor anywhere. And when I asked for a refund they said only a partial refund can be given. 0/5 terrible experience.
