Highlights
- Little Bay - We will pick you up at Chesterfield dock. After a short safety briefing, we will cast off along the beautiful shoreline of Sint Maarten. Get comfortable on board, and find your own private spot. Our first stop will be at Little Bay. This small pretty beach is well protected by the outcrop of Fort Amsterdam right on the edge of Philipsburg.
This is the perfect spot to explore the tropical underwater world. For our snorkelling enthusiasts, Little Bay offers one of the rare beach snorkel locations, as the waters here are generally calm due to its ‘cove like’ nature and also the installation of solid rocky beach breaks. This makes it an ideal spot for children and beginners, and you can also use our selection of water equipment thus there is plenty to do for all of our guests.
- Maho Beach - We will slowly sail by at Maho Beach, located across the Princess Juliana International Airport runway, where we will watch planes take off and land - depending on plane schedules. We cannot stop there but will try to catch a plane above our mast. An absolutely astonishing view to enjoy while having a cold beverage or socializing at the inside bar. Have yourself a drink (cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages), and allow our hostesses to spoil you. After watching the planes, we will cast off to our next stop, Mullet Bay.
- Mullet Bay - Our final stop before returning to the dock will be Mullet or Simpson Bay. There, we will drop anchor and enjoy the gorgeous Caribbean Sea. Jump into the water for a swim, float along on a noodle, relax on our 18ft floating mat, or take a ride on one of our kayaks or stand-up paddle board. Enjoy drinks (cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages) and food on the large aft deck or flybridge, or just relax and enjoy the view on our sundeck lounge. The forward trampoline area is also open to guests, and is ideal for lounging and soaking up the sun. We will cast-off early enough to ensure our cruise ship guests will arrive back at the starting point on time.

Check-in at 9:40am at Bobby’s Marina at the wood gazebo in front of Aziana restaurant. From the cruise terminal turn left on the main street and walk ~10 min. At the colourful tour sign, turn left and walk through the parking lot. Turn left at the Great Ferry Express office to find the wood gazebo.

Cruise Excursion - Captain Dave and his crew was absolutely incredible. They took very good care of me and my part of 15ppl ranging from 3-72 of age. They made us feel comfortable and made sure we needed for nothing. The food was delicious and nothing I expected. Camille cooked up some coconut rice, salad and chicken. I highly recommend sailing the Pheonix.

highlight of our cruise - Highlight of our cruise! Our port stop in St Maarten was the best because of this catamaran trip. We saw planes fly low into the airport, snorkled, swam in the ocean, and were fed a delicious lunch that even all the kids devoured.
Great service, friendly crew, and great boat. Highly recommend.

Perfect excursion for a quiet day. - If you’re looking for a more intimate laid back cruise, this is for you. We only had 23 people onboard and it was a great day. Carlos did a fantastic job leading the snorkeling. Captain Dave was also fantastic. Lunch was delicious.

Best catamaran adventure of all time! Spectacular trip with amazing crew... - Amazing and unforgettable memories...We were there the same day the left engine had problems. Captain Dave, and Carlos were very professional, explained the situation, they tried to fix the cable that snapped, Carlos showed it to me and said it broke, like all things do. So I personally know it was true and not a lie. They proceeded to safely go back to the snorkel spot which was like out of a traveler's magazine with all types of fish, manta ray, 2 turtles, a sunken submarine, and historical cannons. I loved the time there, lunch was served exactly at noon...teriyaki chicken, cesar salad and coconut rice which was to die for!! Thank you Carlos. Anyway, music played and drinks were floating as did the lilypad, kayak, and paddle board...I did notice the family of nine who seemed to complain about everything but you can't please everyone...All in All it was a spectacular day! We will definitely be back on Sint Martin and definitely on the Phoenix!!! Thanks again!

Worth every penny! - I had such a fun time sailing on the Phoenix! Captain David and the crew were fantastic - very attentive to the guests needs and made sure everyone had a great time. My favorite part was sitting on the trampoline in front of the boat - that spot with the island views is truly magical. I also loved having all the toys in the water. I made new friends with other guests and can’t wait to come back! You will not regret booking this tour!

Absolutely Incredible! - Absolutely Incredible! It was very spacious, plenty of drinks and snacks were available. Carlo's and the crew were very friendly and accommodating. We made a few stops for swimming and they guided us through a snorkeling spot that was great! Im not a strong swimmer and Carlos made sure I felt safe and showed me what I needed to do. This was by far a time to remember! Oh and the food was amazing, we had a Carribean BBQ for lunch.

Great day despite the weather - Despite spotty showers and thunderstorms, Captain David put us in a position to maximize our day. First mates Jacob and Camille were perfect hosts and hostesses. We highly recommend this tour!!!

Its a scam! - My family and myself are EXTREMELY disappointed with this experience, we were a party of 9 and paid a lot of money to explore st maarten and this experience did NOT deliver! They took us out 10 min away from the shore and announced that they had engine trouble, instead of giving us options to go back to the shore or returning a portion of the money, the captain announced they were working on fixing the issue. This turned out to be a complete lie and we missed the opportunity of exploring this beautiful island. To make matters worse the captain did not offer an apology and had the gall to ask for tips! I would not recommend this tour for anyone! Highly UN- recommend!
