Kathmandu Drive to Syabrubesi

Syabrubesi hot spring - The trek begins with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, where trekkers will journey through the picturesque landscapes of the hilly region. The views of the beautiful hills, white water rapids, and other natural landmarks are quite enchanting.

The trails also offer stunning views of the snow-clad mountains. Our destination for the day is Syabrubesi, the entry point for treks in the Langtang region. Upon arrival in Syabrubesi, you will spend the night at a lodge. You can explore the beautiful area and prepare for the next day’s trek.

Trek to Lama hotel

Lama Hotel - The trail on this trekking day starts from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel, a beautiful landmark along the routes to the Langtang region. This incredible trek begins after breakfast at the lodge.

The trail of the 7-day Langtang Valley Trek runs alongside the Langtang River. Trekkers will cross the river via the region’s suspension bridges. The route moves uphill and downhill to reach the settlement of Bamboo (1960m). The beautiful terrains pass through forested areas with many bamboo plants.

There is lush vegetation along the trail, with many rhododendron trees. Rare and endangered wildlife, including red pandas, wild monkeys, martens, black bears, and others, can be spotted. You will then proceed towards the beautiful destination of Rimsha (2400m). Finally, continuing through cultural settlements, we arrive at Lama Hotel (2420m), where you will rest and stay at a lodge for the night.

Trek to Langtang

Langtang Valley - On this day, we will pass through beautiful terrains to reach the village of Langtang. This section of the trek requires quite an uphill climb. The trail passes through a forested area with rhododendron trees.

The trails run alongside the Langtang River, leading to the settlement of Gumanchok, traditionally a horse stable. Here, you can find yak grazing sites. Mt. Langtang (7246m) looks stunning from the trail’s viewpoint.

The beautiful trails take you through several water streams in the region. You can also find watermills and prayer wheels as you trek to Langtang village. The village (3307m) is famous for its Himalayan vista and Tibetan cultural settlements, along with Buddhist landmarks.

Trek to Kyanjin Gompa

Kyanjin Gompa - On this section of the trek, you will continue through beautiful terrains to reach Kyanjin Gompa, the highest point of the trek. Acclimatization and drinking large amounts of water are essential to tackle altitude sickness. You will pass through yak pasture lands to reach the destination.

You can observe spectacular views of the snow-clad mountains, including Mt. Langtang, Mt. Ganchempo, and others. The trail takes you through various religious landmarks, including chortens, prayer flags, and mani walls.

Hike to Tsergo Ri and Trek down to Lama hotel

Lama Hotel - This is an exciting section of the trek in the Langtang region. The terrains are challenging as you hike up to Tsergo Ri. The trail passes through gorgeous landscapes with views of snow-capped mountains.

Finally, you descend to Lama Hotel (2500m) after exploring the beautiful terrains. Following the same route through the settlements, you will arrive at Lama Hotel and spend the night at a lodge.

Trek to Syabrubesi

Hotel Garden Inn Shyfru Bensi - In this section of the 7-day Langtang Trek, you will trek down to Syabrubesi. The scenic trail passes through beautiful terrains to reach picturesque landscapes.

The short trek takes around 4 to 5 hours. You can explore the rural settlements one last time before arriving at Syabrubesi. After reaching your destination, you can rest and explore the region.

Drive back to Kathmandu

Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal - The 7-day Langtang Trek ends with a scenic drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu. You will follow the same trail as before. The picturesque hilly region vista will enchant you as you arrive in Kathmandu.

After an 8-hour drive, you will finally reach Kathmandu. You can explore the Thamel area to celebrate the successful completion of the tour.
