Fantastic day and tour guide Mario - Despite all the rain in Sydney, we were blessed with great weather in the blue Mountains but most importantly one of the best tour guides we have ever had in our travels around the world, Mario. He was full of energy, so knowledgeable, funny and cheerful and made sure we had an unforgettable last day in Australia!

Blue Mountains - The Blue Mountains are beautiful and the view is breathtaking. Mario began the tour by taking us to a small farm that had a range of different rescue animals. Then we made our way up to the mountains and stopped at a few places. Mario explained the history and interesting facts about the area. He answered all of our questions and made it an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this tour as it was an amazing experience!

Karyn for the win with her ability to tell the historical story of Australia - KARYN IS AMAZING!!! Her history telling is not only informative, but presented in an engaging way. His made the long drive to the Blue Mountains go by so quickly. She was extreamly kind and made it so the family members with mobility issue had alternative activites while we did our mini hikes. She was amazing - one of the highlights of our Australia trip!

A must-do when in Sydney! - The Blue Mountains tour is a definite must-do when you're in Sydney. Our guide, Kathy, was so organized and very knowledgable, and all the stops we went to were very memorable, I really can't pick a favorite one! I got to pet my very first kangaroo at the Caimsley Hill Farm and got to see Bambam the wombat (what a cutie), and also got to pet a koala...no additional fee required! The views all the way up to the Three Sisters were breathtaking and honestly, we were afraid to go near the railing in every photo stop (it was scary high). The meal and the view at the Hyrdo Majestic were also lovely, and it gave a chance for the group to share their experiences so far. The Botanic Gardens were also pretty, we could have kept wandering but we needed to be conscious of not being late for our departure. Overall, we loved this tour and would highly recommend!

A fantastic tour of the Blue mountains - An excellent tour. Kathy couldn’t have done more to make the whole experience run more smoothly. She was very knowledgeable, attentive to detail and was frequently asking whether or not people were comfortable and happy with the tour. The pickup and all timing was spot on. We had a lovely meal at lunchtime and the afternoon ‘bubbles’ were the icing on the cake. The coach was very comfortable and Kathy’s commentary was full of interesting information, given clearly and throughout most of our journeying. We had adequate time at each stop-off and nothing felt hurried. The comfort stops were just at the right time too. We were privileged with excellent weather conditions which meant we had extensive far-reaching views. We would highly recommend this tour.

Van ride to scenic overlooks - I was looking for a naturalist-guided tour of the Blue Mountains, but this is more of a day spent in a van with 14 other people. The stops are all scenic overlooks, lunch, or a “farm” where you can have your photo taken with a koala who just wants to be left alone. Our guide Karyn narrated the whole trip and we learned a lot about the history of the area (and her right-leaning political views). Some of the things she told us were so unbelievable I had to look them up. For example: “New South Wales averages 6 inches of rainfall per year” (it’s actually 60cm/24 inches to 120cm/47 inches) or about the dozens of spider webs on a rock wall “those are all highly venomous funnel spider webs” but when I shared photos of them with an Australian spider expert, they said that they were just house spider webs. Better safe than sorry, but I wish I had booked a tour with an actual naturalist.
